Everything
I loved it so far the best I've ever used and I've been using hernia belts for almost 20 years and I've tried those expensive ones from the medical supply stores and after using this I realized how much pain and discomfort I was feeling. I've been having it with the other ones I've used (thinking it was normal) since I haven't tried a different type like this. I am so blessed and happy that I have the one that makes me feel so comfortable, I am not going to tell you all the problems about the others that I have used in the past, but I am going to tell you all the future advantages and benefits of using this one,,, It's very comfortable, it does the job, it's very affordable, it's built in good cloth materials and most importantly it doesn't bother me at all, it doesn't hurt my waist with pressure, it's adjustable and easy to wear. I am so happy that I ordered a hernia belt that is doing what it is supposed to in supporting the affected area. 5 stars for this product congratulations. If it works for me, it will work for you.

It really does help with the hernia
Most of it works quite well. However, each of the grippy Velcro ends lacks a stiff backing. What happens as a result is that they very quickly curl up, and then end up gripping your clothes. The net result is that you put it on, and as you put on your clothes over it, it grips the Velcro ends and pulls them off, causing the belt to fall off. It also makes removing the belt more problematic. My solution has been to cut off the curly Velcro piece on the end. There is enough Velcro left with backing that it still works. I don’t think I can cut the wider strap around the waist, but I can deal with that. I reached out about the issue and the customer service is great.

I'm changing this review after trying other belts.
I originally gave this item a low review because I wasn't happy with the fit and feel (see below). However, Now that I have tried a number of other belts, I need to take that first review back and rate it higher. Of those I tried, This was the best. Once I learned how to put it on properly (there are no real instructions that accompany it. I had to figure it out on my own. And that is why I'm only giving it 4 stars), this belt felt the best, had the best actual fit, and did the best job. All the others I tried fit much worse, were more uncomfortable, and did a very poor job of holding things in place. So, Go ahead and try the others for yourself. You might find one you like better. However, of those I tried, this was definitely the best. __________________________________________Original Review_________________________________________________ This belt did not work well for me. The problem is the belts that go under your legs. although the waistband is a good fit and easily adjusts, the straps that go under your legs are way too large (may be appropriate if you are morbidly obese, but just don't work for me. The problem is the belts have velcro on both ends. There is no real effective way to tighten them so they fit properly. After wearing this belt for about a week, I am giving up on it and ordering a different brand with a belt that is adjustable.

Allows me to work in my yard all day an play with my grandchildren with no pain or stress.
I'm 74. I was feeling occasional pangs of lower abdominal pain. After an MD exam I realized I have an inguinal hernia on my left side. The first opportunity I have for surgery is about 6 weeks away. The more I continued to work in my yard and play with my grand kids the more frequently the pains were occurring. The low pressure also increased after a big meal. I looked at several trusses on Amazon and this Tenbon belt truss seemed like a simple non-bulky unit for a reasonable price. I got the double belt thinking it might be more versatile and might give me more support all the way across my lower groin, even if I only needed and used the left side pad. Delivery was 1 day. As soon as I put this on I could feel the support pushing against my hernia. There were no pain pangs and I feel more confident that every strenuous activity will not be making my hernia worse. This really lets me do much of my normal life without worrying or being super cautious. I still avoid heavy direct lifting of over 50 lbs but I no longer worry about doing most other activities. I took the plastic pad out of the right side and I do feel more support all the way across my lower abdomen so I'm glad I got the double unit. 1) After a few tries and adjustments this belt is easy to put on and take off. Just pull each leg loop up and into place and the pull the waist strap around from your back and velcro the end to the front of the strap. 2) I have a 33 waist and wear 32 or 34 pant size. I bought the LARGE size belt and it fits perfect. There is extra length and it stretches so If you are a 35 to 37 pant size I'd still recommend the Large. 3) This belt is light weight and not bulky. It rides about an inch or 2 lower than your pant waist /belt line and no one can notice that you are wearing it under regular pants or shorts. I have not tried it with jeans. 4) It's well made. Easy to adjust for many thigh widths. Very comfortable to wear all day. 5) It's a difficult to pee standing up but the whole unit slides up and down easily without undoing the waist strap if you just drop it with your underwear to sit down. This Truss has been a life saver for me as it relieved my fears of walking stairs or doing most normal activity. I would definitely recommend it. ------------------------------------------- Edit 6/26/22 I have now been wearing this belt for 4 weeks including a week vacation for a college reunion. I could not have managed without this belt. It was comfortable on a 5 hour flight and easy to manage in the bathrooms. It was inconspicuous under several types of pants (shorts, stretch golf pants and dress slacks) . It even supported for long times standing and dancing. A few times I didn't wear it in the morning and I could feel the hernia bulging. When I pit it back on the pain disappeared and the bulge stayed down. I did not wear it when sleeping.

Truss works ok
This hernia truss is well made. It works nicely pushing in on the area of the protrusion after manually reducing the hernia. The document claims healing of the affected muscle occurs by wearing the truss. Other sources say hernias do not self heal. Only invasive surgery can fix a hernia. Obviously two wildly opposing views. The possible problem with the truss is this. The curved foam pad, tightly held in place by the truss, pushes in on the separated muscle sides resulting in a reverse hernia from the outside in. Consequently healing cannot occur. If fact the truss may make the hernia worse by continuing to force the sides of the muscle open thereby enlarging the opening. The pressure of the truss is adjustable. It takes time and several wearings to get a comfortable fit. I am going to flip the pad over so the flat side is against the opening instead of the rounded side to see if this works better. I only have a left inguinal hernia. The truss effectively uses velcro to hold it in place. But where the truss comes together on the right side there is a spot where there is no velcro to attach the buttock strap to so you have improvise. I am using both straps on my left side. This is working ok. I am happy with the truss. It keeps my hernia from excessively bulging out but does not keep it completely reduced.

Great product, well thought out and constructed. Includes idea for keeping pads in pockets.
Truss stays in place, both sides stay in place. I have no problem with the pads staying in the pockets. And they hold well all day. I think perhaps ladies that use this truss might have a different experience. This one keeps everything in place that had popped out after the hernia (inguinal). So comfortable that I may use it after hernia repair when doing lifting. It gives additional abdominal support in the right areas. One downside: if ya gotta pee, it takes about three undressing steps to get into “position”. So if you are an urgent pee-er (need to go right now), then plan your breaks so as not to have the urge and not the ability to get ready. This part of the review might get XXX’d out, but it is a real part of the review. UPDATE: other reviewer states the pads sometimes come out over the top of the mesh pocket. I found that this can be stopped by using a 3 inch long “hook side” Velcro tape from front to back of pocket over the top opening of each pouch. Quick cheap fix using either sewing Velcro or even Velcro cable ties for computers, using only the hooks. Anyway, works and nullifies the potential problem with displaced pads.

Good sturdy belt that works
Extra large size fit me... hips 48 inches. This is a good belt because the straps do NOT come up between the buttocks! It is comfortable if worn over leggings. It presses on the inguinal hernia in the right place and I can now do things I couldn't do before without the hernia coming out. It pulls up and down like tight underpants, so you can go to the toilet easily, and pull it back up again (it is easier to pull down than up, but it is still pretty easy to pull up). It is strong and firm. I read reviews that said the velcro gives out fast, but if that happens, I will just sew or superglue new velcro onto the belt. They send a little ziplock bag to store it in when you aren't wearing it, which is nice, since it keeps the velcro clean, which makes the velcro last longer. Mine came with the pads in place already, and since some people had trouble putting the pads in so they didn't come out again, I left them in place and didn't mess with them. Someone said to leave both pads in to keep the belt from twisting out of position, so I left both pads in.... it is still comfortable. It is tight, of course... it has to be tight to work. But it seems to be well made, and it works! Now I have to see if it is helpful after the surgery, too.

4 Stars
I’ll give it a 4 It’s very comfortable and does a good job at keeping the hernia bulge inside. Only issue for me is the Velcro. The Velcro tends to lose its attach ability after a while of use. Unfortunately, my hernia is bad and I have to have it on at all times when active. So I use it daily. So would I recommend? Yes. Just know its use is limited bc eventually the Velcro won’t want to stick anymore. What could help the product? Better Velcro attachment that last. Perhaps sewing on the two attachments and leaving the other two adjustable? Decent product just wish the longevity of the products use would improve.

Works
Husband is using this support belt for times when he is sitting or driving as it is more comfortable than the large belt he also uses. He uses a heavy duty belt if he has to do anything like standing or walking. He is waiting for surgery and is happy to have this smaller support belt.

Try this belt
I have an early stage prolapse. My lower abdomen and down below really hurts if I stand and walk for too long. I ordered size M, I wear 11-12 size pants. This fits me just fine. Once I put this on, every pain disappears. Not to exaggerate, however this has helped me immensely. At work, I don’t feel the pressure down there. The pain on my lower abdomen is very less to none. The only complain I have is when I take it off to pee or poo.
