About Timex: The company began in 1854 as Waterbury Clock in Connecticut's Naugatuck Valley, known during the nineteenth century as the "Switzerland of America." During World War I, Waterbury began making wristwatches, which had only just become popular, and in 1933 it made history by creating the first Mickey Mouse clock under license from Walt Disney, with Mickey's hands pointing the time.

Timex Men's Marathon Watch
This is a good quality Timex Marathon watch. It has a largedisplay with an indigo push button light which is easy to read. It has a stopwatch and alarm which are easy to use and read. This is an excellent watch for a marathon runner or a fitness athlete.

Not waterproof... at least not mine:
Update: Sept 2020; The replacement watch is dead....this time I did not wear it in rain or the shower, simply wore it in the humid climate of the southern U.S. and moisture gathered inside the watch within days and killed it.... These other reviews are scam, not even sure this watch is of the actual Timex value brand Marathon. You cannot find it under their product line anywhere else in the web. And guessing by the other sources of the other reviews, it's a knock off that made its way into Amazon.Nice looking big face watch. Good information layout. But that's about it. With in the second week, I worn it once in the shower and it quickly gathered condensation and moisture inside the watch. This then effected the display and ultimately rendered the useless.

Trim broke off on second day
The trim around the face broke off on the second day.

Fine considering the price
After 7 months of daily use a significant amount of condensation developed under the screen. Now it's difficult to see the time\date. Timex did offer to repair it, but I would have had to pay the shipping switch is like half the cost of a new watch.

Could not read the watch had to press the indiglo to see the time.

Looks good & Sturdy
I ordered it for my nephew as a gift for his birthday, he loved it a lot and the watch looks super sturdy as well. Those who likes big dial will really love it and you can go for it, the color is light and will suit all the age group.
