Small Portable Micro-hydro Generator Water Charger Hydroelectric Power 3.5w

Replaced the generator in a wall mounted shower system with this. Perfect fitment with the exception of the electrical connector, which I swapped out from the original. It does make a bit of a whine, slightly different from the previous unit. Not loud, just different. It generates at a fairly low flow rate, something I appreciate because I take long, slow, hot showers as therapy. The timer keeps me honest.

Great ,works perfect on low flow from river supply we power a 3watt LED with it ,saw 11.63VDC out of it if you wont charge a batt will need a diode as unit runs when connected to power supply we contacted the seller and after a bit of back and forth seller notified manufacture and told us that unit will charge a batt as long as water flowing but if you have no water flow it will act as a motor and start running but I'm planing to instal a diode in line so should stop this miner problem any how we purchase two units and both run perfect thanks for looking .

unit performs exactly as specified.. my shower tower quit working and this got us back on track nicely.. install was very easy and the product arrived quickly. Thank You !!!!

Bought and used this to replace the old motor from the multi shower head. However, before you do, Make sure that the connector matches with what you have, if not you need to have some DIY skills and will have to cut wires and connect the old connectors. Another issue is that the motor creates a humming noise and it’s a bit noisy, but does generate enough juice to light up all the led’s. I gave it 3 stars only because of the humming noise. Update after 6 months. Creates more noise and then broke down and leaks. Must be a bad batch. Hope there’s a warranty on it.

The generator is much smaller than it looks. It appears to have standard hose fittings on each end, but they are actually 1/2 in pipe threaded. The fittings have a strange design that aren’t round. There are flaw surfaces cut into the top and bottom. Unless you get a matching fitting that seals on the end (rather than by threads), it will spew water.

Paired this with a 12V Universal 15 LED Motorcycle Rear Tail Light so we can see when irrigation pump in the back pasture is on. Brilliant!

honestly didnt know what to expect it worked but not in my project too low of pressure all well imma use it again in the shower someday when i get a real water heater

Zwei dieser Turbinen werden bei mir in der Zuleitung der Gartendusche verwendet. Der orignal Generator der Mischbatterie ist ausgefallen und wird jetzt durch diese ersetzt. Sie laufen geräuschlos und halten ihre Leistung bis kurz vor Abstellen des Wassers. Laufen besser als das Original. Tip: Abdichten mit einer Flachdichtung aus einem 1/2" Gardena Hahnstück und nichts tropft. Angeschlossen an das Kunststoffrohr der Wasserinstallation sind die Turbinen über je ein Übergangsstück Aplex 1/2" flachdichtend. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung, zumal das Gehäuse aus Polyamid ist und nicht aus Kunststoff wie die Gelben durchsichtigen Modelle.

Max. Ausgangsleistung bei 3Bar unter 1Watt. Absolut enttäuschend. Auch bei 4Bar erhöht sich die Ausgangsleistung nicht spürbar. Spielzeug.
