The 10G SFP+ ports are perfect uplinks for core or distribution switching. Real-World Usage Performance is excellent as long as you’re not expecting full UTM/IPS/SSL inspection without licenses. As a routing/Secure SD-WAN platform, it punches above its price. Failover behavior is fast and non-dramatic. It handles chatty IoT, VoIP, mesh AP backhauls, and weird legacy device traffic with a patient sort of competence. Surprises (Good & Bad) • Good: Thermals and stability are better than expected.
