Presentation Quality Judge, Lawyer, or Organization Gavel and Sound Block in Wood Gift Box

Beautiful simply beautiful!!

This was presented to a newly appointed Judge; it was received with gratitude and given out of respect. Beautiful wood and well crafted.

nice quality for the money

The exterior of the box is nice, but that's about as far as it goes. Opening the box and there's a really bad moldy smell, the inside lining of the lid has spots on it that I can only assume to be mold, and the bottom lining on the right side isn't even fully glued down and is pulling away from the box (see pictures). Also, the metal band on the gavel doesn't seem to be removable so my local engraver can't engrave the gavel. Paying over $100, you'd sure expect this to be better made, not smell bad, and not be full of mold.

Great gift for my brother, the judge!

Ordered two of these but one came damaged. A split down the center on the underside. Otherwise as expected.

Had some problems opening and closing the box. Latches were too tight when trying to close. Top of box finish could have been better. Could see blemishes in finish. Box did not sit level on a flat surface...slightly warped. Dis a laser engraving and the end result was quite nice, but had to work hard to cover all the small imperfections. I'd still buy again.

The first was not closing evenly, although the clasp was in lock position and staining was ok. The second one was the quality I was looking for, and was very pleased. I docked ratings because I had to return.

It was beautiful the wood color was exactly what we wanted too
