It's great when technology moves on. In this case, a brand I've never heard of previously has managed to create a super little box that handles our CCTV cameras with ease.We've connected Hitosino, SV3C SVCAM, ESCAM and HikVision cameras to this box, and it took them all with ease.It even insists you change the default password on setup - finally kit enforcing this!The app worked seamlessly with the box. Whenever I load it up, all the cameras appear. It was super easy to setup. You can do it automagically using QR codes, which popped the serial in easily. But we always configure our routers manually - so port forwarding, etc. But the config on the app was quick and easy and allowed us to use our non-average settings!We're early days in with this - having just set it up, so I hope our glowing experience continues. However, yet again I am disappointed when it comes to the standard web browser experience - or in this case, lack thereof. Much like all the CCTV IP cameras I've ever seen, the manufacturers, designers and coders seem greatly out of touch with modern browsers. People - Flash / custom apps and plugs are long dead! Please stop using them and start using an approach which will work (and will continue to work) with modern browsers. I was rather shocked to be told, on loading the IP address of the box into my browser, that I must downgrade to an older browser. NO! I shall not! Not least for the security justification - but because I expect it to work!The mouse (supplied is rubbish, but when you plug in a normal PC USB mouse) the experience is far smoother than the old composite video boxes. No more clunky clicks. Although the keyboard I tried was not picked up. I'd much rather configure and use this with a keyboard as well!Other than a poor web browser experience, and a very budget mouse, everything else about this box is great.* The App is great* The setup was easy (always set new unique passwords on ALL of your cameras and this box).* The video quality (so far) seems sharp and unglitchy.For less than a hundred quid - this box is brilliant and should easily connect to you existing or new IP cameras (it doesn't come with any cameras). Just make sure you know the camera passwords!I'd recommend this for anyone needing a simple, easy and great value for money CCTV DVR / NVR / Recorder.

buy cheap buy twice or 3 times as in this case.i bought an Ectivision NVR 32ch to find out that the quality was extremely poor and it wouldnt add all 16 of my current cameras. they were all purchase together and all the same make/model. i returned that nvr, bought this lookcctv on and i couldnt believe the same box turned up, i plugged it in exactly the same interface and exactly the same issues. i then went to a not so local shop and bought a Hikivision nvr, plugged in and away we went in less than 5 minutes with no problems. spend a little more and dont get this box that is obviously mass produced and sold to different brands passing it off as their own. it a load of male cow poop!!!
