La Dolce Vita Almond Biscotti, Authentic Italian-Style Cookies, 40oz Jar

Good and crunchy. Best with milk or coffee. Special treat is pineapple and cottage cheese on top.

Tasted these for first time ever a few days ago. My neighbor had the 2.5 pound jar and gave me half of them. I was expecting something bland and forgettable. After one bite I was trying to figure out how to get some more so I checked Amazon and ordered another 40 ounce jar. This package arrived Thursday and it's Monday morning. Every single biscotti is gone. I was thinking about stocking up on about 10 jars but I know they won't last long around me. These things are delicious. Not too sweet. But delicious. Perfect amount of nuts. Delicious. Not hard but they are crunchy. And delicious. There were crumbs at the bottom but you gotta expect that with considering the texture of these cookies. Even the crumbs were satisfying. Still debating whether I should buy just one or get 10 or 15 more jars just in case.

These are made by Nonni, but are better than their large cookie-like biscotti. These are shaped in a more traditional fashion and have a harder crunch. The ingredients are clean--eggs, butter, flour, sugar, whole almonds and anise seed. The price for this offering of 40 oz. is quite a bargain. The only surprise for some might be the addition of anise seed, but this is authentic to real Italian biscotti and avoids using cheaper anise flavorings.

A great authentic tasting Italian Biscotti. They are crunchy and excellent for dunking. The taste and texture are nice with a hint of anis. I have bought several times. Shipping is ok, some get broken I guess you can expect that. Over all a great cookie for the price.

Good except for the almonds which were hard as rocks. I had to spit them out so as not to break another tooth. I broke a tooth on an almond years ago. If you made a flavor without the almonds I would give 5 stars.

​Nonni's almond biscotti does not disappoint. Made with whole almonds and authentic anise seeds definitely boost the flavor factor and each cookie has the right amount of crunch. With that being said, I was quite disappointed when I received my order. Sadly, a ridiculous amount of biscotti were unrecognizable dust particles and a fair amount had been smashed to bits. This is unacceptable and such a waste of product, I won't be purchasing from Amazon again. See pics, there are even a few dents in the container!

In Rome I embraced the whole coffee culture. These biscotti take me back to Italy. I have ordered these multiple times and have not encountered the crumbs and breakage others report. They are just the amount of crunch, are full of flavor and whole almonds. All around great value for high quality. So good I subscribed.

These biscotti are delicious. My coffee club always enjoys my house because I serve these biscotti. I have had several kinds of biscotti in Italy over the years and I think these are comparable. I like the smaller size, makes it easy for "dunking". The price is good, with value for money. I have reordered these several times. They are consistently fresh and tasty. I also like the free shipping on AmazonPrime.

really like these biscotti. Took a chance, as some reviews said they'd arrived broken, but my big jar arrived in great shape, only a few broken pieces. Really like size and they are really yummy!!
