Sole searching goody!
I'll give you a little history or back story to give you a bit more content. I know I'm flat-footed since I could remember and have done nothing about it nor had a clue as to why it was important to have proper support. Well up until 8 years ago, I realized that I've been having some back problems. Probably due to years of negligence including but not limited to, active sports, working out, running, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, and on top of a 20 year old car accident. Well... as I get older I find myself limited to activities due to my back. Recently my lower back caused a pinched sciatica on my right leg down to the feet. Any sign of pressure on it is like a sharp nail driving up my toes, heels, ankle, leg, butt, and back. I would still attempt to walk across the room to get what I need and would over compensate on the left leg. This eventually caused tendonitis on the left ankle. OK... that's a fairly extreme story, but true. During these different phases over the years I've tried using Dr Scholl's customized, pain relief, and gel for walking and other normal things. They hurt at first as my feet takes time to adjust to the "correct" heel arches and whatnot. Either way... over a few months I eventually stopped wearing them because they simply suck. They don't do anything to help. I've tried other orthotic insoles that also don't work, prices ranging from $10-$100. Now... remember I mentioned the whole sciatica and tendonitis thing, well that was just last month. I pulled out all of my old insoles to give them a try and NONE of them helped. It either caused more pain or simply was a POS. I ended up using crutches. I was very skeptical about getting "another" insole, but for the price of these I'd give it another go. As I trimmed these to size, I realized that the materials are well made, very light, and fits well in my various shoes, ranging from DC shoes (skater shoes) to Clark's (dress shoes). The first time I tried them on were on a pair of Nike mid-tops for ankle support and street wear. For the first time, between all the sole searching I was able to stand up and walk with minimal pain. My arches are still trying to get use to the "correct" arches, but I can definitely see a difference in the way it balances my posture and pressure points on my feet. This basically tells me that these insoles are properly spreading out the weight of my body "evenly". Well at least better than all other things I've tried. With even body weight distribution it relieves tension on my ankles, legs, knees, butt, back, etc... So all in all, these are THE best insoles I have and probably the most cost effective ones to date.

UPDATE (x2): Repurchased
Having had flat feet a long time I flatten arches quickly with insoles. I have had these for a few months now and no sign of being worn. There are days I'll spend 8+ hours woodworking with squatting, bending, etc and haven't had any back or feet pains like I have with the Doc S. 420s I used to use. Other times I might stand for hours and no issues there either, don't even have to switch back and forth between feet. Even better these are cheaper and for the whole foot, not just half, making for better support! I will gladly buy these again when my current pair run their course! UPDATE: After one year these things are still amazing and noticed as soon as I don't have them in. Been recommending to friends still to date for the price and feel over other named brands I've tried. UPDATE: So I finally bought some new ones and noticed a difference instantly in look and feel. While the old ones are in an old pair of shoes used for yard work, they still provide better support than the shoe alone. This time I actually bought two pair, one for everyday shoes and one for the running shoes I recently got. The first time running in new insoles was insane for the pressure in the arch, but I knew it was foot design as it isn't an issue after that day. Support is still amazing, loving them after all this time, and recommending them to friends looking for good insoles. Highly recommend still as a heck of a lot cheaper than Dr. S AND full shoe not 1/2 or 3/4!

Worked better than any night splint ever did!
I have struggled with PF for a couple of years now. I've gone through about every style of night splint you can think of, I've been in boots, had shots, and began discussing surgery. My orthopedist recommended some horrifically painful insoles that I couldn't hardly stand in, but they helped me realize that the problem with my PF was in the mechanics of how I walk. So I started researching insoles and based on the reviews decided to try these before I shelled out the big bucks. I'm not joking here - within WEEKS my PF was gone entirely. I still used my night splints, but I put these insoles in my shoes every single day. At first they were slightly uncomfortable from the pressure on the inflamed tendon, but as my gait changed the swelling went down and I was able to walk pain-free for the first time since 2014. I am not exaggerating this in any way. I have read hundreds of reviews on PF products and always thought "yeah, right", and everyone is so different in their PF causes and problems, but all I can say is that this worked for me! I deducted one star because in just 2 months they have started to flatten and lose their support and my heels are hurting again. I wanted a little longer wear for the price, even though it is less than the others. But I will gladly repurchase these again and again because at least now I know what works for me!

Day and night difference
I work in a professional kitchen and I was looking for orthotics for my new Mozo work shoes to prevent plantar fasciitis. In the past I've been a marathoner and wanted to avoid having that condition rear its ugly head. First I worked one day with my new Mozos just as they came. The outer pinky toes were rubbed a bit raw and I had pain in the arches of my feet. On the second day I put in my pair of VIVEsoles. I tried them on the night before work and the arches felt really high... too high. I've had insoles that have cut off the flow of blood in my feet because the arches were too high. My foot felt a lot more snug because the new insoles were more firm than the ones the shoe came with so I was concerned that my pinky toes would be even more raw after the switch. I went to work the next morning totally expecting my feet to be obliterated before the day was over - to give you an idea of how skeptical I was I bought the original insoles and an extra pair of shoes just in case. The best thing I can say is that it wasn't until my lunch break that I remembered I was working with a new pair of shoes. They felt so comfy I forgot about them completely. I forgot about them again until I got off work in the evening. I took my shoes off at home and there was no soreness, no rubbing, no pain whatsoever! Everybody has different feet and I can't speak for whether the VIVEsoles will work for you as well as they have for me (so far). All I can say is that the difference between the original insoles and the VIVEsoles were day and night for me. Shipping was satisfactory and I've yet to have to call their customer service, but I will keep you updated on how things progress. So far, very satisfied customer! *Side note: I usually wear a size 8 women comfortably. I was anticipating substituting the original insole for an orthotic so I ordered my shoe a half size larger, 8.5 instead of my normal size. If I had ordered my usual 8 these orthotics would have made the fit too tight. Very stiff, rigid, sturdy insole. Plan accordingly!

they seem well made and like an excellent product
I'm not sure how to rank them - there is nothing wrong with them, they seem well made and like an excellent product. To that end they deserve a 4. If the goal of reviewing them is to compare how they fare in the my one anecdotal foot, then I give them a 3. They are very aggressive, I feel like something is poking me with the large hump. That being said I did the right thing - I have flat feet, and plantar facitis. Reviews varied wildly and that's no surprise since everyone has different physiological dynamics. One thing I noticed was people said they were replacing any style insert every few months or year or so. So I bought a few different inserts knowing I'd be replacing them anyway and could try out which worked for me. These didn't work for me but I'm sure they're great for some people, they were too aggressive and the middle of my foot would feel slightly sore, or let's say I could feel it after the end of the day. Another less aggressive pair seems to be doing the trick. I'd still buy them again and like to know how different inserts perform. With medical issues why not do the best you can narrowing down what works, it's worth it in the end.

These have helped my plantar fasciitis!
UPDATE after using these for 2 months. The dark green heel pads migrated all the way to the front of my sneakers and these are no longer eligible to return. I'm really disappointed as these are not cheap and they were helping my plantar fasciitis. However, my heel pain has returned again since there is now less padding there. I tried re-sticking them down, but they won't stay put and frankly, I should not have to do that after less than 2 months of wear! I liked them so much that I bought the smaller size to transfer from shoe to shoe and once again, the heel pads on those have also moved after not even one month. I included a photo of those below and since it's only been a month, I am able to return this pair. I do not recommend these as this is a definitely a design flaw no matter the size. These orthotics were easily cut to fit my sneakers and slipped right into place. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for about a year and had been using soft inserts from my podiatrist that didn't do much for exercising but did help with daily arch stretching. My PT recommended I try a harder insert to really boost the arch support. I've used these for a full 2 weeks now and have done Zumba, strength training and elliptical workouts. They have really helped reduce foot fatigue and arch pain. I am still cautiously optimistic as I've been doing PT during this time so not sure it's all orthotics, but they have certainly helped me go longer in classes without foot pain! I will be buying more for other shoes for sure!

I have extreme plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. I've tried everything, including expensive custom orthotics. These are the only thing I've found that actually help!
