I gave him 1/4 first to see how strong it was but it did not work. The second day I gave him 1/2 the tablet 30 min before going to bed and he immediately fell asleep.he is about 10 lb and a 3 month old puppy. But today he woke up vomiting a little bit I’m not sure if it’s because of that but I will keep an eye on him just to make sure it’s because of the tablets

My golden retriever doesn’t travel very well and is anxious in the car. She’s extremely antsy when we travel with our camper but it’s not horrible. I decided to try this product to help relax her during our longer trips with our camper. I gave her 2 treats 40 minutes before the trip. Within minutes of leaving I knew this was a huge mistake. She was 10X worse! It was as if we gave her an upper or doggy speed. She would not sit or lay down, panting and drooling all over. Not to mention she was constantly trying to jump onto our center console and I thought she was going to cause an accident. I have never seen her so uncomfortable and out of control like this. I threw the bottle out immediately upon arrival to our destination. On the way home she was a completely different dog. After 5 minutes of pacing in the back seat she settled down only to get up when we came to a stop. She would check out her surroundings and return to laying down after a minute or so. I would never want to experience again how she was on these “relax” pills. I wish it would have worked but in this case it was the complete opposite affect.

I’ve tried both the chewable tablets and the chews. Both work equally well, but in some slightly different ways. The tablets seem to be a bit stronger in dose, like one tablet is all that’s needed to knock my pup into a deep sound sleep, whereas 2-3 chews are needed to make my just under 60 Ibs 9-month old golden pup sleepy. However, she definitely prefers the chews over the tablet and will eat the chews like it’s a treat. I’d have to smother the tablet in peanut butter just to get her to swollen it because she’d chew it and spit it out soon after, since the tablets are kinda big and also chalky. The size of the tablet is about the size of a quarter. If you have a pickier pup, go for the chews and just get a slightly bigger package (to last longer). If you’ve got a large breed too, it will also take a couple more chews to have it work effectively, but that’s perfectly fine with us!

My doggo is getting on in years and despite her tough appearance, she can be quite the scaredy-cat (scaredy-dog!) when it comes to fireworks, thunder, and just about anything that goes bump in the night. So I bought her this calming product. At first she loved it ... gobbled up her dose like it was Thanksgiving night. But, as I said, my girl is old and sleeps a lot anyways so I have no idea how effective it was in the end. The next time I offered it to her she didn't want anything to do with it. I have no idea why. So I'm giving this a medium rating because I just can't tell how effective it was. To be clear, I have no complaints but also unknown praise. Try it with your anxious pupper and see if it helps!

It calmed her down a little. She has separation anxiety.

I have a 12 year-old female Sharpei in early stages of dementia. This is the only product I have found that can keep her calm and less anxious. She takes it every morning and because of that she has a better day. Would recommend this product to anybody that has an anxious dog. Good product.

Very disappointed in this. I bought this prior to the Fourth of July for my dog. Followed the instructions and started to give the dog everything a few days before, and including the day of did not do a thing because once the fireworks began, she was very scared and shaking, and then proceeded to chew on some wood items of the house moving forward I would suggest to everybody just go to your vet and get something prescription and not try the cheap route.

SO happy with this. Over the moon actually. Was running out of options with my senior chihuahua, he’s been having really bad insomnia - and it’s gotten steadily worse over the last year. He’s been keeping my entire family awake at night as well, crying, barking, etc. He never takes pills or treats, is so picky. I bought the tablets, crushed them up, mixed it with water so it formed a paste, and then I poured that over some cooked chicken, he ate it and seemed to like the taste! He’s sleeping so peacefully now. Definitely is a little hazy, but so incredibly helpful.

Not a great product and wont use again. Gave my dog the runs. Whole reason i got it was to have calmer walks but instead, all he could do was poop constantly.
