Wanted this to provide insulated ends on a quench tube for forging so I could pick it up when it was at 250C and filled with hot oil. Used the putty to give me an insulating handle at each end (still wore blacksmiths gloves). Did pretty much what it said on the tin. Set rock hard over night and provides a reasonable thermal barrier.

Works very well, used it to repair brackets on a motorbike..top job.

I have been using Jenolite Titanium Epoxy Putty and its always been good. Unfortunately the most recent tube I purchased did not set as it should. Having carefully cut the amount I needed I started mixing it as per the instructions. To my surprise after a few minutes of mixing the epoxy started heating up (curing). I tried again, with the same results where the epoxy would start to heat after 2 minutes and then another 30 seconds later it is not moldable at all and becomes brittle. The instructions state that the product gives a 1 hour working time which has held true with previous purchases but unfortunately with the most recent purchase you can barely get past the mixing stage to be able to mold anything close to what you need for job in hand In addition to this, i managed to get some in between a joint before it set and 24 hours later i tested the strength of the joint....it snapped in two without any reasonable pressure. I also noticed the colour of the product is a lighter shade of grey compared to previous purchases which have been dark grey (see photo). I will purchase another tube and check previous purchases have been from another vendor perhaps.

Se adaptó perfectamente a lo que tenia pensado porque quería tapar unas grietas y agujeros en una chapa de un guardabatros de una moto antigua y quedó perfecto al lijar y pintar después

Bon produit comme tout ceux de la même gamme, j utilise énormément pour beaucoup de situations différentes et toujours satisfait des bâtons epoxy

Ho provato in questi anni molti Stucchi epossidici, per ora è il migliore. Si lavora molto bene con le mani (i guanti mi raccomando), per ammorbidire uso semplice alcool denaturato, si mescola bene rimane compatto e aderisce meglio. Poi scaldo la riparazione portandolo aimanendoazione con una piccola stufetta circa 60/70 gradi, (toccandolo deve quasi scottare). Deve stare comunque almeno 24 ore a temperature superiori a 30 gradi, se potete, così diventerà il più duro possibile.
