Loving this phone. I have Cricket(at&t) and it sycd right up with my Google account and is all good. I destroy phones and this one has home through some things in the 10 days I've had it. It spent 4 hours in a sink at work with me not knowing it was there (I'm a bartender) and it was great after. Little water under the screen protector but it functioned like normal. Also have dropped it many times and nothing has happened. End story is it's a great phone and can take a hit but the battery is just normal. I'll take that trade.

AS of today and the last hour I am not impressed with this device. I usually buy the BLU unlocked phones and have never had an issue with them that I did not create myself such as broken screens and the battery charger port going bad after several years,I however saw this nice rugged phone that had advertised all the features that I needed. I use straight talk and with my BLU phone i always got 4G/4GLTE connection. This phone was supposed to support the same. I put my sim card in and I am only getting 3G period. It is ATT, but only 3G. I am not at all happy. I will be calling straight talk to see if its maybe a setting, but at this point I am not a happy customer. Also its supposed to have a great battery, well I have only had 20 minutes of screen usage since last full charge (It came on Friday and put it on the charger then went out of town until today it charged well before I picked it up to use) and I am already down to 80%. All i have done is took one phone call and set it up, played no games downloaded no apps etc... Most definitely not as advertised. I have no complaints about durability it feels nice and durable, and it came with a screen protector already attached and an extra one. Since its not giving 4G as advertised I am giving it a low value for money rating. If straight talk can assist me with my 4G I will return and edit this review, but at this time call me an unsatisfied customer.

This phone feels solid and ,FINALLY, a phone that's not ready to slip out of your hand when holding it! lol.. The issue I had was not with the seller but the product itself not functioning with an item I use for testing. Seller was very respectful in giving me information to try to resolve the issue but the product is not capable of using the feature I needed. I don't know about many of you, but it is almost insane to me that many of these phones are designed to be extra flat with a rounded curve that makes them very easy to slip out of your hand unless you are using some extra casing on them. This phone is ready to go with durability and other features that make it safe from drops and other accidents. I really wanted to keep this phone, however, it didn't support the NFC sensor I needed it for. However, it had about 90% of everything else I would want from a cell phone. I really hate my Freestyle Libre Censor would not communicate with it. Anyhow, I rated it 4 out of 5 stars because it is a nice durable phone you can actually handle in your hand with comfort, just took 1 star away for the NFC issue I had. Thanks.

I'd never heard of Blackview before. What I did know that I find myself in environments hostile to electronics, and I wanted to consolidate my work phone (T-Mobile B66) and personal phone (AT&T B2) phones into one. A little over $100 seemed like a fair price for a trial. I expected it to be bulky and slow. It is a ruggedized phone with an oversized battery after all, and the specs aren't great by modern standards. It's actually a lot more svelte than it looks. It's slightly thinner than my old Galaxy S10+ in a case. The screen protector that came with it is good enough that I still haven't put on the tempered glass ones I ordered. It can definitely handle missing my pouch and bouncing down a flight of concrete stairs as well. Regarding performance; It's actually better than expected. Not overwhelmingly so, but it can do reasonably well playing Golf Rival or War Robots, and is just fine for the majority of work apps. The closest thing I have to a complaint is onboard storage, can't expand it when using dual SIMs, and I filled it up. Again though, that was kind of expected. Great value

This was a serviceable phone for the money at first. Within a few weeks the headphone jack started to act up and would not recognize the headphones were plugged in and it would not "snap" the headphones into place either. After two months it has gotten worse and the headphone jack is now apparently useless. I tried to contact them via their customer service page and it does not work and will not submit a ticket when I tried on two different browsers. I also emailed them directly as well as the seller and I have not as of yet heard back in either case. I would greatly appreciate a refund or exchange since I specifically bought the phone to listen to things while I work.

This BV5500 phone by BlackView is very sturdy and rugged! it has a big screen of 5.5" that comes protected with screen protector, it is also waterproof with IP68 rating which means it can support water submersion of 60" (1.5 meter) up to 30 minutes. It has dual 4G sim slots, it comes with a solid build rubber shell so I won't need to buy an extra protective case for this phone, even the usb charger input is protected with an extra piece of rubber.
