The deer love it
It is a little pricier than going to the store to buy one. It was quite effective & pleasurable to watch the deer. Easy to use.

Horses loved it
Excellent salt lick! My livestock love it, and it’s holding up really well even with daily use. The 11lb size is solid and long-lasting, and I appreciate that it’s 100% pure Himalayan salt with natural minerals and trace elements. A compact affordable source of minerals my horses love
Horses need a broad range of supplements, but salt is one of the most important. This block is sturdy and my horses love it! Keep it out of the rain and it can last for months. With all salt supplements, it's essential that your horses also have sufficient clean water and protein access of course. A great alternative to more costly Redmond Rock and my horses have taken quite a liking to it.

Had a large nail, hammered into large tree and have this hanging about 3 feet off ground through the large hole in the center. Seems to be doing its job.

My Horses Love This
My horses use this along with a mineral block and they've been licking this down steadily. I will say though that the rain also melts it down more than a mineral block so there is some loss from this.

Ponies like it
I have mine in a rubber bowl but it also has a convenient hole for hanging . The ponies went right to it.

Compressed and Therefore Brittle. Still liked by deer.
Because they are compressed they tend to be brittle. I ordered 2 and they shipped in the same box. During shipping I am sure they banged into each other as there was no padding between them, So when I opened the box, one block was in 3 pieces. I would suggest ordering one at a time or order the cut blocks (they often come with a rope through the middle because they drill a hole). Our deer like all types of pink salt.
