So good, I just bought another one!
I bought my first Aspectek zapper 4 years ago while my apartment was teeming with fruit flies. It has worked great and has only needed the bulbs replaced twice. I haven't had another infestation of fruit flies since I bought the first zapper. Now I have an indoor greenhouse which has become infested with fungus gnats, so I bought another one. These zappers work best in the dark, when they attract more bugs. However, they still work fine during the day. They will kill flies of all sizes, moths including clothes and pantry moths, and the occasional spider - anything that's attracted to UV light. I like the tray in the bottom which collects the remains and is easily emptied and cleaned. Overall the entire zapper is easy to wipe with a damp cloth AFTER you turn it off, unplug it and let the electricity discharge for a few hours. It comes with a sturdy chain to hang it with, or you can stand it on a table. The only drawback is that the power cord is only about 2 feet long so you may need a heavy duty 3 prong extension cord. I don't recommend installing this zapper directly above food preparation or cooking areas. When larger bugs get zapped, pieces of them fly out of the zapper. Also, sometimes big flies only get their wings burnt off and you may find the occasional fly crawling on the floor. Another issue is the sound. The bigger the bug, the louder the zap. My zapper is located on the opposite end of my apartment to my bedroom and I sleep with the door closed, but every so often a big zap will wake me up. So it's not a good idea to use this zapper in a bedroom while you're sleeping. What you can do if you have a room with a fly problem is put the zapper in that room for a few hours with the lights off and the door closed. That's what I do when I sometimes get flies coming in through the vent in my bathroom.

Commercial strength for coverage of at least 3000 cubic feet. Best solution I have found
This is the product you want if you have a fly or other flying insect problem. This will kill moths, flies and mosquitoes and probably others but I only have issues with those three. Less than a minute after turning this on it was zapping away. Almost like hearing a popcorn popper going. This is the second one of these I have had. The lights if left on continuously 24-7 lasted me about 8 months. If you have it on only at night when it works best then with the spare bulbs you should not need to obtain replacement bulbs for about 30 or so months. I will tell you that this device will make fast work of all kinds of flies and are particularly effective against those tiny ones you can barely see. In the first week I counted over 300 dead flies the last time I got one. I bought the second one because I loaned my original one to a friend who now doesn't want to give it back. So I made it a gift and ordered a second. This is a slightly updated version of the one I bought over a year ago. The assembly hardware appears slightly different and they now include a chain you can hang if by. Make sure you unplug this before you try to change the light bulbs. OH and there is a handy tray for cleaning. You will definitely want to empty that periodically. Do it gently as the flies don't weigh much and it is easy to dump them on yourself. A vacuum might work though I have not tried that. So how well does this work compared to other things I have tried? I have tried bug spray. That is pointless. Enough to kill all the flies would make the air unbreathable for 48 hours. I tried a cheaper solution consisting of a very small UV light and a piece of sticky paper. That was effective but on a very small scale and you have to replace that paper frequently. I ran out of paper in a week and then found I could not buy replacements. That item was about $10 so that would be $520 a year if you want constant protection. I tried one of those electric fly swatters that look like a badminton racket. It's the same idea but you have to chase the flies around all day because there is no UV light to attract the flies with. So that was a waste of money and I think I paid something like $25 for two of those. They were rechargeable but who wants to put all that effort into it? So then I tried this device and it worked beautifully. Nothing else completely eliminated all the flies in under a week. It took about three days to make the flies unnoticeable then it was just this thing killing them as they sneaked into my house, a few a day. For the whole time I had it going I never once had any but the occasional fly that would always find it's way to this zapper. A note, I live in a very warm climate conducive to insect infestation. In this area a lot of people have to tent their houses periodically to get rid of flying insects. This will prevent that from being needed at least for flying insects. My place is about 3000 cubic feet so not terribly big. I might suggest a normal size three bedroom house might be best served with at least two of these or possibly a third if your home is particularly large. Say at least one for every 5000 cubic feet of space. This will plug into a standard 110 outlet and uses a minimal amount of electricity. I have mine plugged into the same outlet with my refrigerator.

This is THE bug zapper to buy.
This is like the Johnny Rico of appliances. It kills them, kills them all. If they'd had one of these on Klendathu the war would have gone differently. I used it indoors to combat a fruit fly / other little midgey bug thing problem resulting from an excessively moist vermicompost bin, and later from an overloaded composting toilet (I know, don't judge me). The midgeys were drawn to it like the Sirens of Greek mythology, and perished as surely. The fruit flies are not "supposed" to be attracted to the UV light, so I placed it near the source of the infestation and placed that source just beneath a powerful fan blowing out my window. Since they were drawn to that area, they mostly all died also. The SNAP SNAP *is* pretty loud, I think it may have upset my neighbors but they didn't say anything. The noise is unavoidable though, and that's how you know it's working. And it works, had it on constantly for a couple months, no burnout or short or anything. The only "malfunction" I witnessed was recently, when the problem recurred, and the zap-grid (which is only on one side of the lights btw) got so clogged with a chia-seed-looking goop of bugs that it wasn't able to zap anymore. Small constant sparking witnessed at the edge of the mass. I turned it off, took off the protecting grates (very easy to do, you just push down and pull out, it's spring loaded) and used a vacuum cleaner to yoink the carnage off. When I turned it back on, it went right back to work like a Call-of-Duty pro sniper with respawns. If you have a real bug problem like mine, it's worth mentioning that the little collection tray is laughably useless, mine filled up and overflowed and it spills when you pull it out. So dead bugs will go everywhere, and thus I recommend doing what I did and just use the vacuum cleaner. That's not something that I can imagine a reasonable design fix for though so I'm not gonna dock a star for that. Likewise with the only other blemish, the few dead buggies that get stuck to the bulbs. I could probably clean those off with some windex or alcohol but they don't seem to reduce its efficacy so I haven't bothered. If you need a bug zapper, this one will not disappoint. I wouldn't trust all the weaky cheapo ones unless you really want the different aesthetic style. This one WORKS.

Works effectively and must product for the home
Recently, we had multiple bugs entered within house, mostly from the backyard garden, as we keep it open for long duration. Once these bugs are inside house, it's very difficult to through them outside, almost impossible. These bugs can infect food with multiple disease. After going through all the bug zapper product in the market, I decided to take this product. Now, I am glad, my decision was right to take this product. Very easy to put in place to take action. It also contains chains to hang the product on the wall. It does not take a minute to start this product and within 30 min, I can see 5 bugs are killed. Once I closed all light, it starts attracting almost all bugs in the house. After few hours of use, now I can feel, I don't need this product as nothing much left :). But I will still keep it running all the time, to get rid of a single bug in my house. Very easy to operate. I don't feel any sound, when this product is running. Only when it catch bugs, we heard a kill -noise. This gives indication that, house is now with one less bugs. Very easy to clean - there is small portion at the bottom with killed bugs, we just need to take it out and through the bug outside and put it back. I will say hardly 5 min task. Environment friendly - As these products does not use any chemical, so it's completely safe for my kid and everyone inside house can operate 24*7 without any harm. Not recommended to use this product for outside use, as it will catch a lot. Though there is no harm. Best value for money - There are many costly product in the market to resolve same issue, though this product does job very well with best price product in the market. I definitely recommend this product.
