Not for HP
Don't buy this if you have a Hp elite 8300 motherboard It does not fit a socket 1150 HP Way Way to small and I haven't figured out why they sent me Two of these. Waited for what seemed like ever for delivery UPS threw it on my front porch and left it out laying out in the rain Package was virtually destroyed when I received it check your sizes before you blow any money on this.

Doesn't entirely fit right
Tried to use these backplates (Received two of them) with an LGA1151 motherboard, and found that the screw holes didn't seem to be in the right position for the cooler I was using, as well as being too small for the screws that came with the cooler. The latter problem might have been that my cooler wasn't using standard screw sizes, but the holes really should be in the right place. They are very sturdily constructed though, for what that matters.

Screw threading stripped on first tightenting of fan on both units
Purchased a two pack, both had threading issues on the fan mounting posts. Recommend an alternate product.
