I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Truck. This item fits my truck great. All holes lined up very well, I replaced the (fasteners) with something a little bit stronger. It sits off of the hood, no rubbing and it sits straight/centered. When I drive, this Hood Shield does not vibrate or flap. This item has quality and is a good buy.

It fit perfect on my 1995 Tacoma 4wd. Looks badass and retro.

The deflector itself is great, it fits the profile of my 1999 Tacoma perfectly, and the holes line up well with the stock mounting holes. However, as others have mentioned, the mounting hardware is pretty useless. I ended up using machine screws installed from the top side of the outboard holes, and added new holes near the stock inboard holes for sheet metal screws installed from the bottom side. This has the shield securely mounted. I didnt need to rubber bumpers since the shield sits far enough off the hood that it shouldn't come into contact.

Haven't installed yet, but the bugshield appears to be decent. One issue I have is it stated that it comes with 3M tape and or fasteners. I opened the box and the only thing in it was the bugshield. I got on to Amazon site to see what the next steps were to be taken, and it directed me to the website of the company that made it. Had a chat session with them and they told me it's an Amazon problem so I'll have to deal with them. Luckily I have many fasteners that I can use, so I'm not going to go back and forth between the 2 companies to resolve this. Just be aware that you may run into this issue if purchasing a bugshield from them.

This bug deflector looks great and easy to install took about 20 minutes to install and fits great installed on 1999 Toyota Tacoma.
