Large Soup Spoons, Large Stainless Steel Restaurant & Hotel Quality Round Soup Spoons, Set of 10

OK, confession. I like big silverware. I like silverware that you can grip and feels substantial in your hand. Our daily stainless is ample. Our silver is too small for me. We set a formal table every night, more often than not with music and candles. A perfectly paired bottle of wine, of course. So any silverware we set has can't look out of place next to our Mikasa daily dinnerware. I think these soup spoons are well made and certainly attractive. Our daily stainless is bright like these. These spoons fill all those bills for me.Last night we served an amazing vegetarian chili to nine. Only my wife deferred to our regular soup spoon. That is the nice thing about buying a set like this. It gives the guests and host choices. We didn't throw out our other spoons when we got these. I wouldn't set this spoon at the bowl of a small child, unless they asked for it. So it gives us choices.My wife is a true gourmet cook. I will predict one thing she will begin using one of these spoons for. With the long handle and large bowl, I predict this will become her favorite spoon to taste sauces and soups while cooking. I will let you know.

Very good just what I wanted great soup spoons but you get what you pay for as far as the quality of the shine they seem a bit scuffed up but otherwise great

These are larger than restaurant soup spoons. These can be used as a soup spoon or serving spoon. They have a little larger bowl and a longer handle. We've used them both ways and love them. They are sturdy and solid yet feel comfortable in hand. If you are looking for a soup spoon only, then you might want something a little smaller. For our needs, these work great.

These are very nice, but were supposed to be big and heavy. They are not! They are the same size (hold the same amount of liquid) as our normal table spoons and weigh over an ounce less. These weigh = 1.6oz each. Our regular table spoons weigh = 2.7oz each. If you are looking for regular size soup spoons these are fine. But they are not extra large or heavy which is what I was expecting and wanted.

We ordered these soup spoons because we wanted soup spoons with a longer handle. Being bouillon spoons the bowl part is also a little larger. Good buy and strong stainless steel

In fairness- they are large and fairly sturdy.I wasn’t satisfied with the sharp edges. Some of the bowls were very rough and sharp on the edges enough for a scratch or scrape.The angle of the handle was awkward for us too.Still a good deal for some people. Large bowl and good size. Would require a little 400 grit sandpaper or a buff for the edges.
