This product was absolutely perfect. Good packaging, good layout, Excellent directions: clear and in color. I purchased this package for my father-in-law's shower that has the ORIGINAL 50 year old PF Faucet. It turned out that i was delayed too many times so he did the installation himself including removing the original valve seats using a 4 sided, tapered screw removal tool. He said he was stuck and worried he did something wrong.... Well, He didn't do anything wrong. All that was left was to add the threaded trim installation shafts and put the trim on. Looks and works great. Very well done. NOTE: NO tool included to remove the seats. That is noted sort of in the documentation. I would be glad to pay a $1.50 to have everything needed. Also, a set of spare washers for the next time needed would be great. I am trying to figure out wey I don't start using this valve in all future shower installs. It's just fine. Simple AND Elegant... A fresh look for an old shower setup This Danco 3-handle trim kit turned out to be exactly what my older Price Pfister Verve shower needed. The chrome finish instantly refreshed the look of the bathroom, making it feel brighter and more modern without the cost of replacing the whole valve system. The kit came with the stems, seats, and knobs, so everything I needed for a full rebuild was in the box. Installation was straightforward—if you’ve done basic plumbing before, it’s not too complicated, though a seat wrench makes the job a lot easier. The handles turn smoothly and feel solid, not wobbly like the old ones. The chrome finish has a nice shine and so far has been easy to keep clean. I especially like that this saved me from having to open up the wall and change out the entire faucet body—this kit truly extends the life of an existing setup. Things to keep in mind: the knobs are plastic with a chrome finish, not metal, so while they look nice, they don’t have the same heavy feel. Still, they’re perfectly functional, and for a high-traffic rental bathroom or a quick refresh, they work well. Bottom line: A cost-effective, complete kit that gives an old 3-handle Price Pfister shower a new lease on life with smooth operation and a clean chrome look.

Although not original like Price Pfister, the parts works. Might have to use some teflon tape to ensure that no small water drip or leak.

Perfect triple handle replacement set. The only thing missing are the 2 teardrop escutcheons to cover the hot and cold in wall shut-off access. The kit comes complete with 3 round escutcheons (so hold onto the old 2 teardrop escutcheons if your mixer body has built in shut offs and the finished wall material is cut out for access).

I'm going to speak for southern California's VERY hard and chemical-filled water. You need to replace knobs and faucets every two years- max. You will see how the water eats away the finish on your fixtures before that- but what you don't see on the outside is even worse. The crusty hard buildup adds up on the inside, and once you get to the point where you have a drip you can't shut off no matter how tightly you turn the knob, you have a big problem awaiting you on the in there. But first, you will have to take it apart- and good luck with that! Your center screw will probably strip before it turns, no matter how much CLR or WD40 you prime it with first. EVERYTHING gets fused together, mostly with the calcium, flouride, and lime buildup. You will probably need to drill the screw out. Then, you'll still have a big struggle to seperate the parts. You'll be hitting it, trying to crack the hard-as-rock sediment apart. And you will need an L-shaped tool that isn't in the kit- Home Depot will know just what that is, so buy it and save it for future replacement jobs. You might want to just hire a plumber at this point, because you'll be frustrated, and your hands and arms will hurt. **Next time, change out everything yearly!** Before this happens, because it WILL. Aside from all that- this set is universal for all the 3-knob (hot, cold, and twist-up diverter in the middle) bathtub faucet sets. Most of us will have no idea what brand we have, but if it looks like this, it's probably the right set. My place was built in 1978, that's all I know. I've had to replace these in my 2 bathrooms many times in 24 years. I always wish I hadn't waited so long. If you do it regularly, it's easy to do and you won't need a plumber. Just put the parts together in the same order they are in when you take the old ones out (if you can still make out what that is!). And don't forget to turn off the water to the house first!

It lasted 3 years, hate to replace these things ... too much waste of time

I bought this to replace an old one.. and I guess I should've just stuck with home depot or Lowes... it hasn't even been a month I've installed it and it's been nothing but issues. It was leaking then I got it to temporarily stop and then it all started again.. And geez them handles are so hard to turn myself, let alone very impossible for kiddos to turn on themselves.. And today the thing freaken failed after showering I went to turn it off and the damn water wouldn't shut off just kept pouring out.. I had to shut everything off at the main water shut off RIDICULOUS!! Damaged parts inside!! I WANT A REFUND!!!!!!
