StormDrain FSD-344-EL 4-in. Pop-Up Emitter Clog Free Drain

This emitter is exactly what we needed. It helps to reduce leaf clogging but it also is helping with another issue. When downspouts are over 20 ft. tall, the water pressure on the "pop up" emitters restricts water flow. This product will address this issue. It is well worth the price you pay. If you use the thin wall "90", I would recommend drilling additional holes in the bottom to help remove water once the rain stops. We normally dig a hole and put 2-3 five gallon buckets of gravel under the "90".

Works like a charm. However, I wish the lid would open and close better. A bit to much resistance at the hinge. Love the drain plug at the bottom of the elbow and the height of the turn keeps you from having to trench so deep.

Needed an adapted to use with 4" corrugated drain pipe which I picked up at Home Depot for about $3...Bought 2 & they work great. TIP: Do Not mow over them on a low setting...I didn't do this but read a couple comments about folks that did & broke the cap.

Had to shave off some plastic holding flap open. Just needed a lityltrim. Much better than the center hinge type. Doesn’t collect crap from the yard. Let’s it flow out freely

The product is good easy to install but the ad makes you think you’re getting two.

Looked good and worked fine but the lid lifts up too high. The suction of my lawnmower lifted the lid as I ran over it and chopped it into pieces. Do not use this in an area that will be mowed unless you plan to remove the lid before you mow.
