COOKWELL & CO 2 Step Chili Mix, 33 OZ

OMG, I now make the Best chili. Just add the Chili Mix, Meat, Beans, and onions. I do add Chili Powder. At work and family, they all request my Chili. Last time I made about 2 gallons for a gathering. Everyone raved about the flavor. this is a must have in your pantry.

One jar of the 4 "Cookwell and Company" 2 Step Chilli starter I ordered arrived broken and the contents were smeared all over the others. I would like that broken jar for which I paid replaced.

This chili was very good. I added some Bolner's Chili Mix and some garlic.I am looking forward to putting it in spaghetti.

My search for the best chili in Port Townsend ended with this product in my own kitchen. My recipe: Brown 1 pound of hamburger! Saute 1 medium yellow onion! Combined these with the contents of one jar of chili mix! Add two cans kidney beans with their juice and one can of Ready-Cut tomatoes with its juice! Simmer until hot clear through! Eat and enjoy with green onion tops and grated medium cheddar over the top and buttered cornbread, honey and a glass of milk on the side!

If your they type who likes gourmet chili or have small kids then this is for you. I found it bland with a touch of sweetness to it. I am from Texas and found this at our local grocery store for $6.99. I am very happy I didn't order it online at the price listed I would have been upset. I am a true Chili lover and this is more like soup. I gave it 2 stars because it was fresh tasting and I was able to eat it as long as I took a huge bite of a jalapeno along with it. I would bet this would be pretty good on a Hot Dog like the packaging suggested but as for true Texas Chili... I think not!

I really enjoy this chili served over spaghetti but the price listed here is outrageous. Five stars for the product, one star for the pricing.

yeah ive had a few of these that have been gifted and recently tried the regular two step chili it does not taste like chili it taste like straight sloppy joe mix.

TERRIBLEdid not taste anything like Chili.Save your money use the powder mixes they are much better.
