Every time I turn off the radio, when I turn it back on the clock has reset to 00:00. Am I doing something wrong?

We've got two identical radios of this type. In both cases we only use mains power (no batteries) and, if the radio is completely switched off, when it is next switched on again the clock initially shows 00:00 for literally a second or two before resetting itself at the correct time. It presumably picks this up from the radio signals. There is never any need to manually set the clock. Incidentally, with one of our radios we always completely switch it off from the mains when it's not in use and there's never been a problem with it remembering the stations that we've stored in the pre-sets. Presumably it has some kind of 'flash' memory in which this information is stored.

I'm sorry, I was so disappointed in this radio, I don't remember the button layout. I sent it back and bought the Play 10 instead. Lovely little machine with 3 presets. You won't regret it.
