Mirage Pet Products Plaid Nylon Collar, Medium, Red

This is my first review ever on Amazon and I'm only writing it because I'm dissappointed with the overall crafsmaship of the product. I bought this for my six month old terrier, while it looks great on her I know it won't last long. She has been wearing it for about four days and it's already showing signs of considerable wear. On first look, it appears to be made of good quality, it's actually heavier than I expected it to be and therefore also thought it would withstand better. For the money, I expected it to hold up a lot better.

It's certainly cute, but we have a Shiba and he does the Shiba shake a lot. When he does this, the collar rattles SO loudly. We ended up taking it off after a few weeks because we'd wake up to that racket several times a night. We ended up buying another collar with a much less beefy buckle.

I love this collar and and the bright colors as well as the price, but I have noticed that it's starting to run and trying to fall apart. We haven't even had it on our dog that long and the run showed up. I was quite sad but the good news is the run hasn't grown in size so it's not the end of the world.

It's ok, not the quality I was looking for but it looks nice on our white Scottie. Nice but could be of a better quality, as she only uses it when going outside I think it will last more and did not experience scratches and else, but I'm positive is not going to last long the color

This is a nice collar and looks great on our Scottie. However, he has scratched at it and it is starting to scar. I can tell it will start to fray soon. So I would not say it is durable (with rough pups), but it sure is cute and inexpensive. It did arrive on time

Very wide, but not the issue. After only two weeks, it is showing white streaks where my dog scratches and is developing a hole in one of the streaks.The colors are very bright and it looks great on my Westie, but would not recommend it because of the poor quality.UPDATE 7/3/15: Where the collar was previously showing white streaks, the area is now badly frayed. At this point, I am replacing the collar with another, simply because I am not too sure of the viability of the collar and if it is still safe for my Westie.

Pretty collar. I was surprised by how wide it is, seems really wide compared to my other dog's collars. The plus side is you see the pretty pattern on our terrier mix so she shows off her plaid better through her wirey fur.

Collar tore the first day my dog wore it. Started out as a small tear in the cheap material sewn onto the nylon collar. Tear has grown each day since to the point that it now extends from end to end. Nylon part of the collar is fine - like any other nylon collar. I do not recommend this product due to its poor quality of the decorative trim, which is what you see.
