Is this game helpful for reading comprehension?

Great question! The game is a really great start for the skills necessary for reading comprehension. Many kids have a hard time comprehending because they dont know how to follow a storyline, or they may not pay attention to pronouns and characters, or they are weak in main idea and critical thinking skills which is imperative for reading comprehension. Using the Story Cues cards as the visual way of teaching these skills- storyline, main idea, characters etc is a great foundation to lead into reading comprehension. Good luck!
