BANILA CO Dear Hydration Boosting Cream

Let me just say, i totally thought this was gonna be bigger in person but it’s literally the size of your palm. i would’ve complained but then when i put it on my face, it felt amaaaazing & that’s when i realized it didn’t need to be in a bigger jar. a little bit of this good stuff goes a long way, my face felt crazy hydrated ! (in a good way) lol i have a combo of dry/oily/sensitive skin so it’s pretty challenging trying to find a specific product for my face. this has been on my list for a couple months & i finally decided to add it to my routine. no regrets!!also, i’m suuuper picky when it comes to certain scents for certain products & this ones not strong or chemically. it has a nice, minty, soothing/relaxing smell.anyways, don’t hesitate. just get it. 🥰

Winter in the midwest is very hard on your skin. I already use Banilla Zero for eye make up removal and love it. I was happy to find this on Amazon. You can NEVER moisturize enough or too early in life. This is very hydrating and soaks in immediately. Gentle on my skin with little to no fragrance. I keep this next to my bed and apply before bedtime...I haven't used it for a very long period, but I have faith in Banilla's product. Will update if needed, but so far -- I love i t!P.S. Not heavy or greasy -- would be great for under make up as well.

They weren't kidding about the glass skin claims. I was originally a little hesitant because I didn't see a ton of ingredients that help with dark spots/sun damage, which is a major skin concern of mine, but my skin looks so amazing right now I can't complain at all. A lot of products will get you to "good skin" status, but this moisturizer gets you EVEN BETTER skin than that. It gets you flawless, glowing skin. Korean level "glass skin" if you will. My skin is noticeably clearer with less breakouts, plumper, brighter, and dewy for a good 24 hours after (read: prolonged hydration). If you want a super matte look, this is probably not the moisturizer for you. It's very very hydrating with a lovely gel-like texture. I'm a tretinoin user and my dry skin drinks this up. I also love the glowy look so I won't hesitate to rebuy this when I run out. I think this just made it to holy grail moisturizer status for me.

I love this moisturizer -- it feels great on my skin, moisturizes well and the packaging makes me feel fancy. I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for the Tatcha water cream and while it's not 100% identical, it's similar enough that I would call it a dupe. I actually prefer this formulation since it has some nice hydrating glycerine. The scent is stronger than my other skincare but it doesn't bother me and I only notice it for a few seconds during application.Here are the negatives:- this isn't quite as moisturizing as it could be. Pair it with a hydrating step earlier in your routine to get the best results.- this was not irritating at all for the first few months I used it. Once I added a prescription retinol however, this started making my face sting. If your skin is very sensitive or if you have a compromised barrier then this might not be the best product for you.
