Strong, dependable leader material that held up much better than my previous setup when bottom fishing around rough reef structure. PROS: Strong knot performance: Easy to tie solid, reliable knots without slipping Good abrasion resistance: Held up well against reef structure where lighter leader was getting shredded Right amount of stiffness: Stiff enough to avoid tangles and kinks, but still easy to work with Versatile use: Works well both as a leader and as a transition section from braided main line Low visibility: The pink tint becomes nearly transparent in the water, which I like for clear-water fishing CONS: Goes quickly: If you fish often or retie frequently, you’ll go through it faster than expected for the price Real-world use: I used the 100 lb test for the first time last weekend bottom fishing offshore in Florida. I fished the same reef spot where the previous week I lost 3–4 fish due to tackle failures (hooks, swivels, and leader getting cut up on the structure). That trip I was using 80 lb leader and it wasn’t holding up. With this leader material, I only had one break-off, and that was because the fish got under the boat in heavy current—not because the leader failed. That’s a major improvement in the exact same conditions. If you’re fishing reefs, wrecks, or other abrasive structure and need a strong fluorocarbon-style leader that ties well and resists damage, this is a solid option. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

I've used this line on my ultralight trout setup for a few years now and would recommend it. It is strong, disappears in the water, and has caught plenty of fish. Great line at a great price!

This line is so strong. We have porch canopy tied down with this and is hardly detectable in daytime. Practically invisible from distance away. Sturdy enough to hold down canopy with 30-35 mph we've had with no stretch at all. I'm sure. In time, we'll find dozen of projects to use thus for including fishing... this is great product for various projects.

Good product and price

What I really want is a 12-pound line that feels like 8-pound line. This isn’t quite that but it holds up really well. I might stick with my all time favorite being Maxima Chameleon line for leaders as I like how it ties rigs and the supple feel to it.
