Works well on my FIT
NO more wimpy sick horns on my 2018 Fit now! I bought this Farbin twin horn and also the Farbin long solo horn, and I am so glad I did! This horn by itself is far to high pitched to me, but with the other one I bought it is PERFECT! It was this one - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0919WFSNV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 The blend sounds like a train horn, but of course not as loud. I am extremely glad I bought both horns as I got the end sound I wanted and the loudness I want also. One of these is not that loud. If you are expecting a truly loud air horn out of one of these you will not be happy. Look at the reality of these horns. They don't have a true size compressor with an air tank, so they can't provide the loudness of a full blown air horn by nature. Another reality is there is no way on God's green earth I would ever be able to put one in this car. It was with great challenge and thought that I made this work, but I did it. I fought hard thinking of where to put the relays where they would fit. I fabricated a little bracket to put both on one of them and bolted it with one bolt where it is. There isn't enough wire at all to run the wire to the original wires for the original horns, so I had to splice in more wire. The hot wires for the battery connection was long enough thankfully to get from the relays to the battery as they were length wise, but the connectors are junk, very thin, weak and open connection only good for testing, so I put a good heavy full circle end on it to connect it to the battery. When I was researching this I found it very hard to hear the sound of them either don't have reviews on them with a video so you could hear them, or nothing on Youtube on them either for the particular brand. I won't fail any of you here as I uploaded a video so you can see how I done this and how they sound. I didn't bother on the prior sound of the originals as we all know they are horrible. There are 2 horns on these Honda Fit's and the one low inside the bumper was tough to locate as I couldn't find any info telling me where it was. It was very tough to do this without dropping the bumper, but I did it, and got a few cuts and bruises to prove it. I don't have car ramps which are really essential if you go this route. I cut a section of the flange as you will see in video so I could get my hand in to access, but it wasn't easy. I actually used a section of an extension cord as it has 3 wires inside it which was perfect to run ground and power wires from the relays to both compressors, and kept them neat and protected also. I used dielectric grease on every connection to protect all the connections and I can't stress enough how valuable that is. I secured the compressors and horns with heavy zip ties, but I used the world of plenty so that if any break over time there won't be any issues of them coming loose. I used some black gorilla tape around the chrome on the compressors so they wouldn't show thru the grill, but the horns I couldn't do anything about. You can see in the photos I put them on the left, then ran hoses to the horns on the right side of car. In the video you can see inside the top as I had the intake and panel off of it at that time, and in the photo here you see how it looks when back together. I tried to show all of you here how I wired this basically and where I put everything in case your wanting to do this project. I personally would love to hear feedback from Farbin and others on how they like this sound when you use both of these horns. I am VERY happy with what I am hearing. Good thing also that if for example you have a relay fail or one of them quit working for any reason, then you have the other to use. I grounded both white wires to car body at the relays and hooked up each blue wire independently up to each original horn wire. When I cut the wires loose from the horns I noticed it only had one wire (the hot wire) going to each horn. I ran 3 wire extension cord to power both compressors and both hot wires to battery as stated. A very time consuming project but I am extremely happy with the result! With 2 of these I can say - YOU WILL HEAR ME NOW!!!

Good horns
Horns were different than the individual horns they replaced. These come as a single unit, but I was able to fit them well here my original ones were, and they seem to work well enough.

Loudness, just o.k.
I thought it might be a bit louder but it is better than the horn that came with my car. I coupled it with a wireless "Wolo" remote control and it was very easy to install. Didn't have to go thru the "Firewall" .

Nice and cheesy. instructions not included!
After hours trying to understand the fricken relay and one nights sleep. I was able to get it working. Previously had an air horn with compressor a tank and a train horn. This has not enough power to push the train horn and the "trumpets " this comes with sound a bit cheesy. This works yes . Instructions what are instructions? Never saw any!
