Bottom Line - It Works
I bought this antenna as an upgrade to the rubber-ducky antenna on my handheld CB. I go off-roading with a group of people who all have hard-mounted CBs in their vehicles, and my hearability was seriously degraded. This antenna made a night-and-day difference. When I tested it tonight with a friend, I went from breaking up at a few hundred feet away to hearing each other clearly at over 1/2 mile. It mounts securely to my roof, has a nice rubber base that won't scratch, and the cable closes easily in my tailgate without crimping. It was definitely money well spent.

Groovy looking antenna
Not only does it look very cool on our truck, but it works extremely well. The second one we've gotten and this one takes the cake.
