This bar is so nice! It was easy to install, well made and solid, looks nice, and makes it so much easier to enter and exit the RV. I am so happy we got this, and really love the functionality of it!

The Camco Screen Door Cross Bar has been a game changer for my mom, who has mobility challenges. I added this bar along with new steps that have a built-in handle and a couple of extra hand holds, and the difference has been incredible. Getting in and out of our fifth wheel used to be stressful and awkward, now it’s smooth, secure, and much easier on both of us. The bar feels sturdy, installs quickly, and gives just the right amount of support when opening or closing the screen door. Even our camping friends were so impressed after seeing how well it worked that they ordered one for their trailer too. Highly recommend this if you want a simple, affordable upgrade that truly improves accessibility and comfort.

Easy to install, some minor trimming may be required but nothing a simple hand tool can't take care of. Screws into place for firm hand hold. Large diameter pole feels nice and secure. Good quality for what it cost.

Quality product that adds functionality to an RV door. The install on my 2024 GeoPro 19FD was easy. I didn't use the template but simply some painters tape to mark the correct positions to screw the end pieces on the metal tube. Used a metal drill bit to drill pilot holes before screwing the screws in. I had to install it all the way on the inside of the screen door frame. On the outside of the screen door frame interferes with the doorframe and your door won't close anymore. I also was a bit worried about sufficient clearance with my stairs folded on the inside. I mounted it a bit lower where there's more clearance with the folded up stairs. All worked out great.

Very effective upgrade. Saves wear and tear on the screen from accidental bumps and pushes. The handle seemed kind of flimsy, but is surprisingly solid after installation.

This screen door handle was easy to install and feels more durable than the screen door itself. It’s so nice to have something to pull the door shut with. I will add I did not follow the directions to install. I simply set the length and eyeballed it. Nothing in a trailer is perfect and if you use a bubble level it may be perfectly level but look unlevel to the eye. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve had good experience with other Camco products. Camco is reasonably priced and has good quality.

It's a great addition to our camper. I t makes the screen door much easier to close. It was easy to install and made with quality materials.

This is a nice addition to my RV screen door. It looks good and was easy to install. It's just two screws on each side and two screws from the back to hold the center section in place. The instructions that come with this cross bar are ridiculously complicated, including a template and unnecessary measurements. To simplify the installation follow these instructions: - Figure out where you want the bar and make sure it doesn't interfere with anything. - Mark and drill the top hole on one side and screw that side to the door. - Move the bar into a level position. You can use a level, measure, or just eyeball it. - Mark the top hole on the other side. Drill that hole and screw the bar to the door. - With the bar temporarily mounted, slide the center piece so it is about centered between the two sides. The most important thing here is the make sure the bar is covering both of the holes on the rear side of the mounting brackets. - Tape a piece of scrap wood to both of the side mounting brackets and the center bar as shown in the photo. This will keep everything in position when you remove the bar to drill the holes from the back. - Remove the bar, being careful not to move any of the pieces. - Drill the two holes from the rear and install the screws holding the center bar in place. - Remove the wood and reinstall the bar. - Drill the bottom mounting holes on each side install the bottom mounting screws.

It is very sturdy. Great compared to the smaller bar. Nice appearance to it. Good value for the price.

Others are less money but also less quality. I would highly recommend the Camco RV Screen Door Crossbar. Not only will it save your screen from getting pushed out but it also makes the screen door less flimsy. Very easy to install. Comes with detailed instructions that are easy to follow. All new RVs should come with this product installed.
