The cord works great, and it's much easier to use than the single-plug converters that you would commonly see. The handle is indeed very convenient for disconnecting the 30 amp plug, and the light conveniently helps to figure out if power is actually on or not. At this price it doesn't make much sense to buy a different adapter.BUT, you will need to be careful how many amps you pull through this cable. The plug will fit 15 and 20 amp outlets, but the cable is technically only safe for 15 amps because it's 14 awg wire size. This isn't a problem with this item itself, and you will have this issue with other adapters as well. You'll still need be careful when running big things like AC, which often pushes you over 15 amps..

Love it! Now I can hook up the pop up at home to accommodate company. Very sturdy and a good buy. It's a good idea to have one of these on hand in case you are at a campground w/o 30 amp service or you need to use a generator in post-storm situations. This small investment makes my little camper even more versatile!

Like the "light" on feature to let you know power is going to the cord, thus the RV. It comes in handy in a pinch when there in only a regular outlet to plug into (like at a friend's house) and you just need enough electricity to run a few small appliances or the tv. Don't overload this plug!

Bought this to adapt my RV 30 amp cord to my home garage 20 amp plug, works great for this purpose, and has a lighted plug to let you know you have power.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

While working on the RV this worked out perfect to plug my 30 amp service into the outlet in front of the house. Of course you're limited to the 15 amp or so that you're plugging it into, but it works nice.

Excellent adapter for my pop up camper. i bought this to add to my assortment of adapters that i try to keep on hand because not all adapters seems to fit all applications that camp sites offer. this one seems to be the best option so far. Well made and holding up well. Glad i bought this.

This is the perfect pig tail to adapt 15 amp to 30 amp plug on most older rv's. We do a lot of glamping and first time last week had 15 amp service and the plug was shared with the next campsite so the small bigger adapters will not fit in a 2 plug receptacle. Luckily had an extension cord but they do not carry the current required with out heating up. This pig tail solves the problem...highly recommend.

What cockamamie BS is this!!! This is NOT for a Normal RV 30 amp Plug in.The female part of the plug has two rectangular plug holes and One Round plug hole!!!!RV’s have 3 …EDITI asked someone smarter than myself to help me out, as this was the 2nd plug-in adapter I had bought that didn’t work for me.I’m living in a Perpetual Blonde Moment!!!RV is now plugged in and working.I used my original RV plug/cord/at the power outlet site on the RV, the I plugged the adapter into the opposite end of that power cord and then plugged the extension cord from house power into the adapter.Works like a charm so far. No problems.I thought the adapter plugged directly into the original RV power site.Yes, my adapter is purple, the colour doesn’t affect anything, happy with my purchase.

Works as well as expected, I don't know why people are upset over the color of the plug?? I purchased it for its intent, not for the color!@

Works great, but for some reason it’s purple not the clear/white-ish color in the pictures. Not particularly fussy about the color but gave 4 stars because it wasn’t described as being purple.

Works as Intended. seems vary well made and durable. I've used this twice so far and have had no issuse.
