It's good for about a year.
After a year it starts to separate with daily use. Pretty sure it's faux leather. But it's also cheap enough that that might not bother some people. But, I've had good leather belts that last for 5-10 years. So, in my opinion I'd just spend a little extra money and get a nice belt that will last you.

Falling apart after 2 months
What a total piece of junk. Completely falling apart after wearing it maybe 10 times. In this case you really do get what you pay for.

Not true to size
Bought a 36" and I could only buckle the first hole, and before you think it, I wear 36" pants and all of them fit fine. This belt in undersized. I already returned it, but the belt itself said 34 or 35-36, so not a true 36. Leather was lightly scuffed when I opened the bag, likely from rubbing on the other parts of the belt. It's a cheap belt, but it runs small.

Excellent Ratchet Belt - Much Better Than Traditional Belts
I bought this belt in April 2024, and it has easily become the best belt I have owned. The ratchet mechanism makes a big difference compared to traditional belts with fixed holes. It allows much finer adjustment, so it always fits comfortably regardless of whether you need it slightly tighter or looser. Because of this design, you also avoid the usual problem of belt holes wearing out over time. Build quality has been very good so far. After regular use for over a year, the belt and buckle are still in great condition and the mechanism works smoothly every time. Another nice feature is that the belt can be trimmed to size if needed, which helps get a perfect fit from the start. I liked it enough that I ended up buying another one as a gift. Overall, this has been a very practical and comfortable upgrade from standard belts, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a durable everyday belt.
