Middle Atlantic HTX fasteners are 10-32 X 3/4” with T20 Torx Security drive heads. Not only are they manufactured in the USA from the highest quality materials, they are extremely well machined. The result is consistent threading and a tight connection to the rack rails. I am a loyal Middle Atlantic customer and over the last 3.5 years I have always had my expectations exceeded by their products. These fasteners come with a factory attached nylon plastic washer to protect your equipment, and they are finished in matte black (oxide).I use these fasteners to mount DJ/PA equipment onto 3 Samson SRK21 mobile rack cabinets. They provide a low-cost, effective level of security that gives me piece of mind when I am at dark, crowded, loud clubs or events and unable to keep constant watch. These are the best rack-mount fasteners available, at least in my opinion!!!If you are going to buy these fasteners…Instead of buying the ridiculously over-priced Middle Atlantic driver bit, I purchased the slightly less ridiculously over-priced Bosch 38346 T20H by 1-Inch Security Torx Insert Bit, Extra Hard (Amazon Prime product). Quality product, works great. Bosch 38346 T20H by 1-Inch Security Torx Insert Bit, Extra Hard As as a back-up solution in the event I misplace the bit, I purchased the uxcell Plastic Handle T20 Security Torx Screwdriver (Prime add-on product). This is a small hand tool, as simple as it gets, and costs less than $10 (I paid $5.57, current price is $6.05). I keep it in the rack-mounted drawer that I use for cable storage. Product works as expected and is made of a good quality metal. The 'security' bits to drive them can be purchased at any hardware store. These screws have a nice nylon washer on them to protect your equipment from screw scratches. These screws will handle more torque that most of the security bits you can buy i.e the bit will shear before you damage the screw head.

30 days and already rusting. Even though Middle Atlantic is expensive, I use them for higher end installations so things look good and fit well. Sadly, these screws rusted in <30 days. Sometimes you don’t get what you pay for, I should have bought no brand name for far less.

Good quality and install without issues. Just pricey for what you get.

I replaced all my rack screws with these to hopefully deter anyone from removing any equipment in it. They work well and all the extra grip makes putting my rack screws in effortless. They never slip like old phillips heads ones did. They should come with a bit since that was robbery.

I bought 100 of these to rack all my gear. I like the slick look compare to the traditional screws. Heads won't get damaged after many screwing/unscrewing. Just make sure to keep the bit in a "safe" place too!

They seem to secure my units really well and gives me a little more comfort knowing that a criminal probably won't take the time to drill or chisel off the screw heads in favor of stealing something much more accessible, like the old keyboard or iMac that needs replacing anyway. Great invention and fair price!
