Delicious canned spinach at bulk price. Yes the cans have been dented and that does not matter to me, it is why the bulk price has been low.

I was happy to find that I could purchase this at the 12 count can price because without naming names, a few people in my household would rather not share when it comes to making a quick meal from just heating up an entire can of Spinach with some seasoning and calling it Lunch. It’s filling and healthy and delicious alone or with a meal. I should have bought 2 (12 count cans) when I first found this because for some reason the price has jumped an additional $5 since I purchased recently. I had intended to buy more but I’ll have to shop around for a more comparable price per can than what it’s currently being sold at. I’m not sure if Amazon is increasing the price to cover shipping but I thought that’s what a Prime membership was for in the beginning, now I’m not sure what it gets for members. Regardless this product and brand has great taste and no bad stems or stones that I’ve had before in off brand spinach in the past.

My local grocery store quit carrying canned spinach (?) Don't know why. I bought this item and it was excellent. The dates were over a year out and the cans were in good condition. The price was fair, not cheap, but fair. I've started looking for a lot more of my groceries on Amazon after finding this item.

Great way to keep getting a steady supply of vegetables in my family's everyday diet, getting canned vegetables helps me be able to plan out meals ahead of time before I shop for the month. This spinach didn't taste overly salty, when I'm using canned vegetables, I find it best to reduce the sodium by rinsing them before cooking so the meal this is added to isn't overly salty for members of my family that are on restricted diets but still need the vitamins spinach provides.

I have been buying generic canned spinach at Hannaford Brothers. It is literally the only canned spinach available locally. The good news is that that it is cheaper and the "no salt" version doesn't cost more. Recently, they had a quality control issue. A lot of the spinach leaves were yellowed, which made me suspect disease or contamination. So, I ordered a case of Del Monte spinach from Amazon and I was surprised at how much better it tasted. Not like canned vegitables at all. Unfortunately, I could also taste the salt quite strongly. I am not sure if this is simply because I haven't had salt in my diet for many years (on the advice of my physicians), or because Del Monte is heavy-handed with it. But the "no salt" Del Monte canned spinach is being sold for riddiculously high prices on Amazon and the price of the salted version is already 50% higher than Hannaford's. So, it's actually cheaper to get fresh spinach locally than pay those prices for the salt free version.

I have been using Delmonte spinach to ensure I get my greens, and for years. I can use 12 cans in a month easy. Being Italian, I make lots of sauces and gravies. Spinach is a great topper on pasta, just a couple of tablespoons. You can top spinach itself with tomatoes sauce or gravy of any kind. You can add it to soups. With any meal, you can just heat it and have it there to eat. Easy to put next to rice. It ensures you will get your greens, and a can is reliable. I tried buying raw spinach and never was able to get to cooking it with all the other items I had integrated. I really love how this comes packaged. It's great to see this available on Amazon.

I don't often buy canned vegetables but if I'm going to it's going to be this one. It's my favorite veggie and Del Monte is my favorite brand for canned.

Canned Spinach at a reasonable price, sold. Less expensive then in store shelves. I am not sure how they do it. It it time to get my Popeye on and eat some spinach.
