We adopted a rescue Rhodesian Ridgeback mix the other month. The rescue told us that when he was found, the suspected he had some mind frostbite on his ears from being on the streets in the winter months. I purchased this and rubbed the lotion on the tips of his ears to stop the crust leftover from the frostbite from cracking, and hoping that it would heal. I did this every day twice a day for weeks. I can say after a month and a half of doing this religiously, his sweet ears are smooth as can be. I would use the leftover lotion on my hands and smooth it over his coat and on his legs, and his fur is so shiny and soft! It looks so much better than when we first adopted him! A little goes a long way. We still have half of a bottle left, and I continue to use it on his coat to keep his fur nice and soft in these cold winter months :)

I have 2 Boston Terriers. This worked very well for my dogs. They usually have some itching and dry skin after baths and I’ve tried all kinds of moisturising shampoos and they still itch afterwards. I used this product and they do not scratch anymore post bath. And I really like the fact that they don’t lick it off of themselves. I’ve used coconut oil which works great but they lick it off as fast as I can put it on. Plus it’s oily at 1st so I have to crate them until it absorbs. With this I did not have to do that. It’s done great for their skin and fur.

Sinks into my dog's fur quickly and leaves it feeling like her normal coat, just softer. It just absorbs into the fur without leaving an oily residue, and it doesn't come off onto my hands when petting her later either. However you do need quite a bit of product if your dog has really dry fur and/or a lot of fur. I have a mini labradoodle (about 20 lbs) w/ pretty short fur, and it took about 10 pumps of product just to get the fur on her back feeling less frizzy. I'd imagine a full size husky would take half the bottle in one go. Minus one star because the guava scent is not 'aromatherapeutic' as advertised. It smells like a fake scented lip gloss or lotion I would've used when I was 13. Returning for unscented.Edit 12/31/2022:I returned for unscented and unfortunately prefer the guava. The unscented smells very strongly of baby powder mixed with new plastic. There are no added scents listed in the ingredients, so it must be the smell from one of the other ingredients. No adjustment in star rating since it still does a nice job hydrating my dog's fur, but I'll probably look for another brand due to scent.

Without fail since using this conditioner, the very first every single person that pets one of my dogs it, he/she is so soft! It is not genetic, it really is this conditioner. They also both have sensitive skin, one to the point of hair loss due to allergies, and this conditioner has helped them both. Can't recommend this enough.

my poor beagle mix girl had such dry flaky skin and was always scratching it made me sick. i kept saying, "why don't dogs have a topical lotion like humans?" well imagine my surprise when i found this product. the very first time i applied it, her scratching stopped! her fur was instantly softened and she smelled good. i use it regularly or when she shows sign of scratching. i totally recommend this product for any dog suffering from itchy flakey skin and dry coat.

I love this, works great on my beagle/bulldog who has allergies, hotspots and skin irritation from getting into things. Moisturizes well without oil separation of his fur. I bath him weekly, sometimes twice if he stinks of something as he does think his but should touch the floor-so this has been working really well it a regimen product for me now though I’d like a larger size than current

My dog has always had sensitive skin and chewed his fur off. He has reactions to just 1 flea bite. He's 15 and he has finally grown his coat out without bald spots with his meds and shampoos. This makes his fur softer than anything I've used in the past 13 years I've had him. He's a little morkie mix of sorts. His sister is a Lahaa poo. She loves rolling around in anything that stinks and gets greasy fast. Usually takes multiple washes to get her smelling fresh, but this stuff does the job and she is so soft when brushed out she feels like a fluffy cat. Will be back when I run low.

We have two labs that struggle with dry skin even with us using a humidifier every day. This is by far the best product we have tried to help them with dry skin. Ordering another bottle soon.

The scent is lovely and strong but not overly so (you can smell if it and it lingers a day or two, if you try to notice it, but it’s not overpowering).It doesn’t remain greasy, it absorbs pretty well.My dog generally has fairly dry skin, complicated by allergies - between this and douxo calm shampoo, I’ve seen an improvement in the past week, the skin on his legs isn’t totally back to usual, but getting better.It also seems to make his coat softer (he’s a husky mix, so short-medium length double coated). One pump is also enough for both back legs and another pump for his back, and one for everything else means three pumps covers him (and he’s 28.5kg).Recommend trying it if your dog has dry skin. (He also generally gets grooming, but actually gets excited and wags his tail when I go to put this on him!)Only real downside is that it’s quite expensive (about 3x what I would spend on human moisturiser!)

Our Shih Tzu was constantly itching and nibbling around his back legs. Vet said maybe an allergy so we eliminated/replaced food, bedding etc; and gave histamines. Nothing changed for him. Purchased this conditioner after reading reviews. It absolutely works. No itching since. Apply a tiny amount each night with fingertips and puppy very happy

Overpriced like all dog products but this is a good intensive cream for dry, itchy skin and paws. It has a pleasant smell and the ingredients are first class. This is the only 'intensive' type cream I have managed to find and it's quite thick so really hydrates the skin. Attractive enough for people!

We needed something to condition our two Cavapoo pups coats after a wash and was recommended this by our local pets at home groomers. And WOW!! This stuff is amazing. Put this on semi-damp coat before brushing and blow drying. The brush just glides through the coat without getting caught. The coat feels so silky soft and shiny. Would highly recommend!

I brought this for my yorkshire terrier puppy.I applied several pumps and rubbed between both of my hands before applying to her dry coat.I gently massaged her whole body from face to her feet.Her coat soon turnt to a nice deep gloss . She looks beautifull particulary around her face ears feet and legs as she has loose curls .This is magic for a dry fine fly away coat that gets static.She really enjoyed the slow massage she recieved also.A very nice product that i highly recomend. It has a fine light scent .
