what does it say around the image and what is the translation in English please?

“O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee”. Google the history of the “Miraculous Medal” (or Medal of the Immaculate Conception” as there is a whole story that goes with this one (a heavenly story!). Mary had a special job to do, to be the living Ark of the Covenant, so God preserved her from original sin in preparation for her job of being Jesus’ mother. Mary always points to the wonderful things God does.

Has the gold pendent ever tarnished?

I've taken two shows with it on and have slept a few days with it on too. Never tarnished with me. I would recommend wiping it with gold cleaner every month and letting it completely dry before putting it away. I now take mine off every night just to be safe but this necklace is pretty good quality.

I want to engrave a symbol and 4 letters, which would be 5 characters in total, can you do it?

Yes, we can do that for you. you can just enter you engrave content when you place your order.

Would this fit in a 5mm necklace?

Hi,this virgin mary pendant would fit a 5mm wide chain, but it might be a little tight.
