Time consuming but worth it!
I think the tricks to using this product are necessary to know. I used it on an outside metal door. After the door had countless primer and paint layers...blisters , bubbles and chipping, scraping and sanding was out of the question. And I considered a heat gun but I was afraid to melt the plastic trim on the door. I wasn't able to remove the door but it still worked perfectly as it hung. When they say apply liberally, do exactly that!! ..Yes , it works very slowly. But hang in there....it works! It takes plenty of time even over night to do the job. They say on the label it STARTS working in 60 minutes but DON'T start scraping yet...The longer you leave it on the better. Let it do the work for you. I was literally able to peel off the old paint in sheets. With very little effort sanding it at the end. I wore a mask and gloves out of pure caution...the odor (especially indoors) was minimal but if you are chemical sensitive they help. So if you have some time and patience this product is definitely worth it. The pictures above are this morning after over night

Worked on-basement NEED TO KNOW TIPS!!!
Pricing. Compared to some other products. You get almost twice as much for about 10$ more. So more bang for your buck. Unboxing I ordered 7 gallons. 6/7 gallons arrived perfectly sealed. One did arrive with a little bit of leaking. But still worked fine. How to Apply I seen plenty of ways to apply this product through YouTube videos. I opted for the large paint brush. But I seen other using paint rollers. Someone even said a spray paint gun? Amount to apply The you tube videos said a generous amount. And when they mean generous amount. They mean it!!!! It should be almost dripping down the wall!!!! Comparing generous amount applied. Everyone has a different idea of generous amount. I opted for two different options to see which one worked better Option 1- completely cover the wall, cannot see the paint anymore. (I thought this was a generous amount.) Results- not great. Dried white. A lot of heavy duty scrapping. And had to apply a second layer again once done and then even more scrapping off option 2- and I mean this in the most literal way possible. DRIPPING/ RUNNING down the wall. Results- much better. Dried a darker green. Scrapping pieces came off in bigger amounts with less effort Removing I went for the scrapper option. It was a good amount of effort Defiantly labor intensive!!!! Do NOT believe the easy scrape right off videos. Other options I seen were wired brushing Coverage One gallon worked best on 6ft height X 4ft width wall TIPS TO REMEMBER If it isnt dripping down the wall when applied. Apply more. And thank me later! Quick dry. Does NOT include the long tedious amount of time it takes to paint on. Or the even longer and harder scrapping off Colors it came in a light green color when applying Results/ drying Option 1- dried white Option 2- dried a slightly darker green, but still looked wet almost like a gel color (make sure it’s this color when removing) Prepare for a long day/ week with this. It may be quick dry. But unless you have fancy equipment for this. It’s going to be a long and labor intensive day/ week applying and removing Wear gloves. And safety glasses. Gloves-My cement basement walls were not nice smooth and flat. They were bumpy. And the scrapper hitting the bumps and coming to a complete stop before hitting my hands without gloves the first day was not fun. Safety glasses- a lot of debrisfalling off as you scrape. Keep your eyes safe

Difficult to use and sloppy
I used the blue container product on my 100 year old steps, it worked well with minimal odor. Obviously, many, many layers of different types of paint. When I used it all, I could not find another in the stores so I purchased the green container. It is a mess, spilled all over and the odor is terrible. Don't like how it dries and its difficult to remove. I can't figure out how there is so many different opinions and ratings? I have used many products and this was the very worst. will make one more attempt to use it up and not waste it.

Works great but it takes a LOT to work
I use this on the baseboards and doors in one bedroom of my hundred year old house. The room is about 10 x 10 and a gallon was not enough. It took 2 gallons. However, when you apply it sick enough, it works great but we're talking so thick. It almost drips down the baseboards when it's that thick everything comes off easily, but it takes an awful lot of product to make it happen. There's a very slight odor but it's not unbearable. I'm very sensitive to odors and I didn't have a problem with it. It is easy to apply and very easy on your scan. If you get any on you no burning no corrosion no nothing. I would highly recommend this product.

Good
I used it to remove paint from kitchen cabinets. It does a good job. Tip - Place plastic wrap over the paint stripper after you spread it on. It makes the job a breeze.

Best color strip
Our house had beautiful tiles on our porch, but the previous owner decided to paint them grey. The paint was peeling off and it looked horrible. We used this paint strip, after many other trials, but not like directed on the back. By accident we learned, that if you put this color strip on the tiles, a little at a time, cover it with plastic (like you use for cover up when you are painting), let it sit for a couple of hours, or overnight, and then jus peel the plastic off. The color will 99 % stick to the plastic, then you just wipe of the rest.

By the blue tub multi strip, same manufacturer
Buy their other product “multi strip” I’ve been refinishing furniture for over 30 years and have been extremely hesitant about using water-based products because of their in effectiveness. The BLUE tub product is an all star that I will use every time. The GREEN and PURPLE not so good

I’ve used it for years and I will use nothing else.
I love this stuff. I’ve stripped 165 yr do very intricate indoor floor, window molding and a door using this. I tried heat guns and other types of strippers but this does as it says. I prefer the green container one to the blue one since the green has less odor. Maybe outside stuff for the blue one. One suggestion I have is if you are down to the vanish which is a pain to get off get some bulk cheap scrub pads you can cut to size. Rubs that last bits off. If you can’t finish what you started when you’re at the varnish level just cover with cheap plastic wrap since imo that dries too fast for removal the next day. Remember unless you find a place to dip strip for you stripping paint and varnish is WORK no matter what you use.
