Plasti Dip Electrical Tape Black Penel 100% Genuine American

I've sort of given up writing reviews in general. There's a lot of plain rubbish out there, I'm sure you know. This stuff has really impressed me. I bought it to seal up wires that I've used insulation-piercing probes on. Upon applying the liquid tape, I thought it would end up a messy blob but it somehow set 100x neater than I applied it. I still haven't worked out how. It dries like it's bonded to the wire's insulation and it flexes with the wire. I have complete confidence that this will protect the wires I use it on. 100% recommended. So glad I chose this original brand.

Useful product, could use a smaller brush in the lid? I use kids paintbrushes for smaller items.

I bought this stuff for a very risky thing - applying liquid metal to my 3090 graphics card. I was extremely nervous about applying the metal and it leaking over to the other components and shorting it out, and I didn't want nail polish. Enter Liquid Electric Tape. This stuff is amazing. It was so easy to apply. The brush allows a good amount to be applied (I had to be more specific with a cotton bud as it was a tight area). It dried very quickly for me - within half hour, however I did wait the recommended 4 hours minimum before I did anything else. I've yet to see if it does the job and not short out the card but I think it's pretty clear it will do be okay. Also I want to thank Plasti-Dip themselves for messaging me about some information of 6 units a seller incorrectly listed on this site - I didn't realise it myself but it was nice to see they're on the ball for customers👍🏼 Edit: Over 3 years on and still holding strong!

Have used this to waterproof some festoon lamps for outdoor use. The product is very thick and applied well - dried in around 30 - 60 minutes and is flexible and adheres well. I applied it in some quite heavy blobs and was pleased that it smoothed out as it dried and is not that easy to detect on the dark grey lamp holders. The product goes a long way and although not exactly cheap has done a really good job and delivered great value for money. Service from Plasti-dip UK was great - item was sent very quickly and arrived well ahead of time, accompanied by a very informative catalogue of a wide range of other products. I shall be buying more from them on the strength of this purchase!!

This is good stuff. Doesn't drip (unless you slather it on willy nilly), and after about 10 minutes a second coat can be applied. It's says fully dry in 4 hours, but it seems set after less than 1 hour, although I gave it the full 4 hours to be sure. Once it's set, it looks like heat shrink, but I imagine it's better that heat shrink in that it gets between the wires of my truly appalling (but ultimately successful) attempts at soldering lengths of 8mm RGB LED strips together and guarantees any exposed wires won't touch each other once it's dry when the joint is flexed. Good stuff.

Questa tipologia di gomma permette di sigillare in maniera eccellente tutti quei componenti che potrebbero risentire dell'umidità. Non sono tecnico elettronico ma l'utilizzo lo consiglio.
