New Balance Men's MX517v1 Training Shoe

I wear these shoes at the gym for weightlifting and cardio. The fins in the front where the laces go through are a little unusual, but you don't notice them unless you stare at them. They are very breathable, comfortable, with good cushioning and average arch support. The laces really grip the eyelets and stay in place very well. The sole is flat and is one continuous piece, so the walking motion is extremely smooth. They have a very fine texture on the bottom, and are very grippy on carpet. All in all, a functional and good-looking shoe for the gym. The price point is excellent as well.

I've been wearing these shoes 3-4 times per week for a few months now and I like them more every day. Probably my favorite part is the glue-like grip of the soles. It's amazing! I do a lot of my workouts on office/basement-type carpet and these things grip like velcro. It forced me to adjust my movements a bit but in the end, I feel much more confident when really pushing myself. My only complain it this; I wear a size 9.5 in EVERYTHING with no problems. The length on the first pair was fine but I had this pinching across the top of my foot as if the size was too small. I returned and exchanged for a 9.5 wide. The heel seemed loose at first but no more pinching. The heel lift is easy fixed but lacing all the way to the top hole which seems to be one or two more than a typical shoe but it really does provide a better/more secure fit. Cushioning is great and they seem to be wearing well. Highly recommend!

I've only worn these shoes for two days. Comfortable so far. The width is a little snug but still a god fit otherwise. Would recommend then. Always like New Balance.

My last/foot form may be strange, but these felt really comfortable on 1st try. Lacing is a little different for the forefoot, but that worked well for my wide front, and narrow rear foot. The high back provides great support preventing slipping without rubbing (have 2 giant blisters on back of heal from previous shoes, so these were more sensitive than usual, and still felt great). They feel snug, and the laces are kind of short for taking off, but very happy with these as walkers. So much so that I am feeling inspired to try running.

I like the clean black & white look of these shoes. I'm a big guy (6'4"/270 lbs.) and I need the support these shoes provide. I walk 2-3 miles every day and I wear them primarily at the gym. I'm very picky about my shoes and will return them if they're not a good fit. That's the main reason I buy my shoes from Amazon. Excellent, No Hassle, 30 Day Return Policy.

The fit is as expected. I researched good cross-trainers and these fit the bill at a reasonable price. No problems with comfort. This is one of few brands that offers wide sizes. I got the 4E. New Balance has always been good for me.

Love these shoes. I ordered the wide version and they have more than enough room for my feet. Not the "wide" that some of the other NB shoes are claiming. Great sole support. I use these as casual shoes, not runners.

I wish New Balance could make a stylish looking shoe. People with wide feet like fashionable shoes too. It's not only old people that depend on them for a comfortable fitting shoe.

Los compre para mi padre, le quedaron muy bien y en sus palabras son muy comodos ya van varios pares que compro de esta marca ya que cuentan con tallas W las cuales vienen mas amplias y le ajustan mucho mejor a los pies de mi padre.

En general es un tenis cómodo para hacer ejercicio el único problema es que con la marca New Balance maneja líneas wide o pie gordo en mi caso compre unos tenis 11.5 USA pero no especificaba el ancho, cuando llegaron era 11.5E prácticamente eran unos bolillos y tenía que apretarlos para que no se me saliera el pie, y eso que no es un pie muy delgado sin embargo aún así no estuve a gusto y se los pase a un familiar. En composición es un buen producto. Como mencionó mi inconformidad fue que nunca se especificó si eran W o en mi caso E, revisé. Bien su compra.

Je marche 4 à 5 km par jour et ces chaussures me tiennent bien les chevilles et sont confortables pour les pieds.
