Im sure this kit would be great in practice, but...if you are ordering it, firstly I would suggest that you request the external packaging that Amazon offers - I declined mine thinking that I was helping the environment, but unfortunately (apart from the delivery driver knowing that I had bought a personal toilet sprayer?) the instructions are on the outside of the sealed box and my delivery label was securely stuck down over it! I had to open the box to try and work out how I was to install this, and found there were in fact a set of instructions inside, but unfortunately, even though I read on the sellers description that you need access to the water feed pipe, it didn't state that it is a significant part of this pipe.My toilet cistern feed is discreetly coiled around on itself and the rest is all boxed in - and secured with sealant. Without removing this boxing, it is impossible to install this kit to my cistern and the pipe that I intended to use is just too short to connect the tap (that the instructions say to turn off when not in use).I don't think you *have* to turn the tap off as the spray head has a lever that you press to release the water, but as I don't want to come home and find that for whatever reason the lever is insecure or fallen and pressed on the floor, therefore coming home to a flooded bathroom, I didn't attempt to install this, although I think if you have enough access to the pipe, this would be an easy diy job - no need for a plumber, just turn the mains water or isolating valve off to stop the water flow, screw the tap onto the pipe, stick the handle to the side of the cistern or wherever you require and put your water back on checking for leaks!I hope my review has given an insight into the easy set up of this set :)

Absolutely love these (we bought 3) we bought these after a recent trip to Vietnam where these bum guns are standard in toilets out there. They’ve done away with the need for wet wipes (so environmentally friendly) and leave you feeling super fresh and clean after every visit to the bathroom. I can’t rate them highly enough! Fantastic product happy customer!!

Very happy with this product. Extremely easy to install and would be overkill for a plumber to be called out... fitted mine with a screwdriver to turn off water and an adjustable wrench....packaging could have been more discrete.

It lets you shoot cool water on to your bum. In performing this task, it is unparalleled. My posterior is now more than sufficiently hydrated and suitably cleansed.On a more serious note, it's easy to fit to a standard cistern inlet provided it's from this century and doesn't use hard lines. if it does, then you've got a bit more of a job on your hands but nothing insurmountable. Ask a plumber if you're absolutely not sure.

Needs longer connected/adaptor to install due to the design of the cistern.

Just easy to install it, and it make a lot of things easy. Wash toilet and wash body. Really like it.
