Slawter (The Demonata Book 3)

A good combination of the first two books. The mentality of the horror is brought to this one while also bringing the physical gore of the first. Though it does get frustrating knowing more about the world of Demonata when the main protagonist always gets a, “well talk later.”

More like 4.5 rating. This was a good read, there was definitely adventure and character development. I would also say that this book is important to the series if your planning on reading the entire set.

I really liked his Cirque du Freak series and now this Demonata series is off to a GREAT start.Once again Darren Shan has a another great series.Can't wait to read all of them !!!!!!!!What an imagination with twists in the plots that really surprise & please me.The characters are so believable........

Just finished this one today, and I thought it was brilliant! It was good to see Grubbs and Dervish again, but it also came with an interesting storyline!As a film student, reading about a Director of horror movies in a Darren Shan book was pretty cool. By the end of the book, I was seriously reconsidering my career path. I don't want to spoil the storyline, but it's definately worth a read to find out why I felt this!Some wonderful new characters in this book, the 'return' of some others. More is releaved to us about the Lambs & Deciples, Lord loss is back with a whole army of demons behind him! This was a great book, riveting! I nearly missed the start of my shift at work trying to finish this one! It is definately well worth a read.

After struggling with the second book in the series, this one really set the standard again. After the Zom-B series this is my favourite. That it was set on the set of a horror movie made it all the more fun and the gore and tension stayed constant throughout. While part of a series you could pick up this book and happily read it without reference to the others.

This book was excellent value for money being sold at 0.01p for a hardback. My son has just started to read the series of ten books so I was amazed to see this one at that price. The book is almost new and I have saved myself a lot of money by buying it at this reduced price. I will certainly purchase the rest of the series from this buyer.

Great book. Arrived in fantastic condition the day after I ordered it. Perfect hardback book with an immaculate dust cover. Perfect read. A definite buy for any Darren Shan reader. Especially one who likes the Demonata series.

Thought he couldn't get any better, i'm so wrong. Amazingly graphic, but couldn't stop reading it. It pulls you in. You run with heart beating in time to the characters. Our old friend 'Lord Loss' deserves the capitals! You know he's not going to go away, he haunts your vision, your mind, your soul....Youv'e gotta read it....
