Great Product~Easy to use~ So satisfied 100%
In these changing times I was looking for a product to do a fill on my acrylic nails.Look no further this is the product. Now if you are doing your own fill even for the first time as I was, hopefully you have had enough fills and watched your nail tech enough times as I have to wing it on your own.So you will need a few other things.Nail brushesEmery boardrectangle buffer sanderI have a battery operated dremel but you could use the buffer sander but it would take longer. The fill was easy just don't use too much product. There are many reviews about the smell. Honestly if you have ever had your nails done before, this product doesn't smell as much as the nail salon. I used it with an open window just in case because I read the reviews but was totally fine. I threw out all napkins and the bowl I put the liquid in and the smell was totally gone. This product is great for a fill. It dried really fast but not to fast to spread. I can not answer to doing a whole set of nails but for a fill it was fantastic!! The products will also last a very long time should I ever need to do another fill.I will return to the nail salon when they re-open as it is easier to get them done and I love to support my local business. But in a pinch I am 100% satisfied with my fill.

Doesn't dry too quick.
When I got it there was a pin prick sized leak on the bottom of the monomer bottle along the seam (accidents happen). I just turned it upside down and kept it anyway because I needed it and couldn't do without it. I am glad I did because I really do like this ( so far). It doesn't dry as quick as what I had been using and being a beginner this is a good thing. What I like the most is with the prior stuff (wasn't a cheap kit) my brushes gunked up real quick.. My brush didn't do that with this! Even with the small leak I gave it 5 stars because I like it! The monomer is just a small 4oz bottle.Update I came back looking for monomer alone and it's not available. But I found the pair I guess from another seller that has 8 oz monomer with the 4 oz polymer at the same price! Be careful. I am kicking myself.

easy to use
First time user here. This was quite easy to use, the most difficult aspect was figuring out the monomer to powder ratio. Please do invest in a drill though, it is too tedious to try to file the shape down. This picture was a first time try with shapers and it was quite easy to form the shape I wanted. I will have to figure out how to get rid of the bubbles.I did do this with the intention of painting but after doing so, I think im just going to get colored acrylics. If you're learning at home then you will also need:Brush (size 8 or 10 fit the average nail wellA dehydrator as a step 1 and a primer as the step 2 prior to acrylic application (this keeps them from popping)Buffer block and nail file with a 180 gritNail forms

great product
It did have a very strong smell. Although I am a beginner and this was a great product to start out with. The texture was a watery texture so it was a little bit harder for me as a beginner. The amount of the liquid,(monomer), was very little compared to the amount of powder that I got. The amount of liquid I got I did about 15 sets of nails. Witch is good but I can do way more sets with the amount of powder I have and with more monomer.

Amazing quality, easy to use
My favorite acrylic powder ever. I've used kiss, sassi, mia secret and some others but this one is the best imo. It can be runny if you use too much liquid, but it doesn't dry super fast and gives you time to shape it right. That helps you prevent clumps and bubbles and you end up filing less, and that makes you finish quicker. When paired with the right tips and polish you can get incredible results even as a diy nail tech. The fact that it comes with the monomer is great as well, and it's a decent size. It says you don't need primer unless you're prone to lifting. I am, so I use a kiss primer. The strength is top quality as well.

Excellent for first time user but there are better Monomers
Look this was my first attempt at Acrylics so my main complaint is the horrible smell that seeps through 3 freezer bags and causes a horrible headache; and also lets just talk about the longevity of the acrylic nail: it’s very short! Your nail will start falling off (as a whole nail so easy removal) in just a week. But! The clear nail powder is a great value and you will fall in love with ease of use! You will be able to create a gorgeous nail that’s very thin and hard!!! However it’s too long and harder to control! If you want to upgrade buy Suzies kit on Joya Mia website. Her no smell Slow drying Monomer is BOMB and lasts 4 weeks and longer! But then again this one is one steal of a price and her kit is $100! So there!

Impressed
I'm super impressed! Having been in the nail industry for 20 years, I've tried everything. I like this monomer's performance more than the overpriced Retention (smells better, too!) The clear powder this kit came with is ultra clear just like the krystal gel powder the asian salon near me uses. It's priced well and performed better than the big name acrylic systems I paid 3 time more for. This was a great find for this seasoned nail tech! Thank you.
