Obscenely priced LED "therapy" unit; Buyer Beware.
Some users claim it works well. However, the pricetag is stratospherically over-priced.The ONLY reason this unit is priced close to $1000, is that it is "medical device", Health and beauty related.LEDs themselves are cheap--pennies each.The other electronics in any LED unit, are also very low cost.Parts can be assembled mechanically, or with little human intervention.Parts and labor, should bring this unit in at well under $100, retail.Is the pricetag on Amazon is due to vendors fishing for ignorant buyers [common], or a company with ridiculous expectations? [also getting common]

It really works!
This product was recommended to my cousin by her Doctor. She raved about it. To my surprise, she got me one for Christmas 2 years ago. I love it. I realize it is expensive, but the good it has done for me, far outweighs any cost. I have a reoccuring pain in my sinus area and when I feel it coming on....out comes my Lumen and 2 days later....the pain is gone. I also have some sun spots on my cheeks.....out comes my Lumen.....they are getting lighter each time I use it on them. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it has had to be sent back to the company twice. The first time, it was still under warrenty and they sent me a new unit free. The second time, the lights were not all coming on. I did have to pay for the repair. The company is very easy to deal with and have always answered my questions and addressed my concens. I sincerely hope the Lumen will be available on Amazon again soon.

Well Worth Buying
My nutritionist suggested that I try this for severe arthritis in my hands and wrists. After using it twice a day for several months, I have much less swelling and pain, and others are now commenting on how much better my hands look. It is well worth buying, it has provided me with a safe and effective alternative to surgery.

It does help
Setting #5 is the most powerful, IMO.Twice a day treatments are needed. The body doesn't heal "overnight". It may take a month or two before you realize it is indeed helping.
