good chamber brush
I got this to clean a .308 chamber. You always need a chamber brush for shouldered cartridges. The AR chamber brushes are best for their particular chambers, but they are not as efficient on other types of chambers. This brush works better in my RFB chamber. Don't forget the chamber mop if you like to use them. The actual caliber for a chamber brush or mop for the .308 cartridge is .45 Shoot often, keep them clean and lubed.

Yes, it is a CHAMBER brush, not a BORE brush (one reviewer complained it did not do something other than what it was advertised to do - huh?). I use them for cleaning gas tubes and return spring tubes on the FAL/L1A1 rifles. Oh, and for .30 CHAMBERS.

its not a chamber brush
this item says chamber brush but I fact its a barrel brush. i purchased this item on the description alone I could not see picture of this item at the time of purchase. a chamber brush has a larger backend to actually clean chamber as you can tell by the picture if you can see it does not. but I can always use a brush and at the price I paid I will be alright.

Stock up on these, theyre great.
Great brush for great price. Just slightly larger than 308 to accommodate all bore sizes in .30 caliber. Quality enough to get 10 or more cleaning sessions before it wears out. I will stock up on these.

This is a great product to clean the chamber on a .308. I would suggest this this product for cleaning.

I had dirt buildup in the chamber from desert shooting fire formed only neck sized brass causing a gritty sometimes stiff ejection after firing and cleaned it right out no issues now.
