I love this and have completely converted from being an Earl Grey and coffee drinker. I use two heaped Tbsp of leaves in a large teapot (1.5 L) each morning - not conventional but it works well for me. A sustained energy, mental alertness and appetite suppressant effect which makes fasting until lunchtime a breeze. Easy on my stomach and no jitters which I was increasingly experiencing with coffee.

First time tried this 'tea' and very nice tasting indeed, kinda woody rich flavour . I found that if you use stated amount that it was a little strong and gives you a bit if a buzz like strong coffee, so reduced. Very refreshing yet warm after taste.

Being the first time of ordering Yerba from this seller I didn’t know what to expect. Well it arrived promptly and the quality is superb. It’s clean, without a trace of stalks or dust and pours clean without any residue. I brewed a large batch for my Kombucha and having read that it can be reused time and time again I’ve done just that. So far I’m on my 5th brew using the same leaves. It doesn’t loose any flavour and seems to be a more rounded/subtle taste now. Regarding the the benefits to health it’s too soon to know, however I can say I’m feeling pretty darned good right now. I absolutely will be ordering again.

The smell of the packaging is nauseating and makes the contents smell. Awful do not buy The Yerba Mate smells of the poor quality cheap plastic packaging that smells of oil. (see other 1 star reviews) I'd make this a 0 if i could. Tried the contents and it taste of the packaging. the smell of cheap plastic oil rubs onto hands and clothes, and the room. It doesn't smell safe to use and made me feel sick. Couldn't return product and after one spponful to try product it is safely in the bin. DO NOT BUY!

En tant qu'amateur de maté, j'ai testé de nombreuses marques et variétés. Je dois dire que "L'Original" d'Origeens sort du lot. Qualité et goût exceptionnels : Dès l'ouverture du paquet, j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité des feuilles : une belle couleur verte, une coupe régulière et surtout, aucune poussière ni tige ! Le goût est à la hauteur de mes attentes : une subtile amertume équilibrée par des notes végétales et une légère touche sucrée en fin de bouche. Un vrai régal ! Préparation facile et économique : La préparation est un jeu d'enfant, que ce soit en calebasse traditionnelle ou en théière. Le maté se diffuse parfaitement et conserve son goût tout au long de la journée. De plus, le format 1kg est très économique et dure longtemps. Bienfaits pour la santé : Non seulement ce maté est délicieux, mais il est aussi excellent pour la santé. Riche en antioxydants et en caféine naturelle, il me donne un véritable coup de boost sans les effets secondaires du café. Je me sens plus énergique et concentré tout au long de la journée. Engagement écologique : J'apprécie également l'engagement d'Origeens pour l'environnement. Le maté est issu de l'agriculture biologique et le paquet est recyclable. C'est un petit plus qui fait la différence. En conclusion : Je recommande vivement le Yerba Maté Bio "L'Original" d'Origeens à tous les amateurs de maté, qu'ils soient débutants ou confirmés. C'est un produit de qualité, savoureux et sain, qui vous fera découvrir toute la richesse du maté.

This is excellent quality yerba mate. The leaf cuts are incredibly clean, and I was impressed to find no dust or branches mixed in at all. It comes in a large bag that offers great value. I prefer making it a bit milder, and it tastes great—not too bitter and provides a nice feeling of refreshment without any jitters.
