Question 1

For those who have owned this brush for a while and use it daily, how is it holding up in the following two areas? 1-any bristle loss? 2-has the name/emblem inscription on the handle faded at all or does it look like it will last for the life of the brush? Thank you.

When i first got the brush l just lost a couple hairs every one in a while, no thing much. This stopped after a month or two. However after about a year and a half, I've started losing significant amounts of hair. I'm talking 20 to 50 hairs minimum during a shave. If I try to get the loose hairs before a shave it only makes it worse. They get all over my face and itch, then clog up my razor and my sink if I don't catch them. I am currently looking for a replacement brush.

Question 2

Do the bristles fall out? I've had two other brushes that shed worse than a dog.

I've owned this brush for several months now, and I only shave about twice a week. I've only had a few bristles fall out, probably 5 or 6 that I've noticed stuck to my face or in the sink over the course of at least 40 or 50 shaves. This is my first brush, so I don't know if that's considered a lot, but so far I'm very pleased with the quality and durability of mine!

What is the handel width at its narrowest and widest points?

Top of handle is 1 1/8" (bulges to 1 1/4" in two places) and the narrowest is 13/16"

What is the stand made out of?

The stand is plastic. My husband has it attached to the wall and it looks good. You really don't see much of the stand when the brush is in it.
