Great value in a sturdy, lightweight shock with good range of adjustability.
The factory air load is a bit stiff. You can reduce the stiffness of response to your liking. The lockout does not completely lock out the shock travel, it just changes it from MTB to walmart hybrid bike. If you are expecting a rigid fork equivalent, that won't happen, but it might be good enough.

Actually better than expected. Not a full send fork but definitely a good cruiser
For a 100 dollars these are actually very good. I used these on a budget spare bike and it's way lighter and smoother than the factory fork that was leaking and had lots of slack. I have multiple bikes with fox, rockshox and marzocchi and these are not on par with those but for a budget bike that won't be dropping off cliffs and jumped these will do just fine. Having air for 100 bucks on a budget bike can't go wrong

Almost a great shock for the price
I just wanted to start by saying for the cost, you receive a decent product. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal. PROS: * Very affordable option if you're building a budget bike. * Easy to install. * Compression and rebound were decent when I was bouncing the bike while riding. * At 185lbs, riding off the 6" curb caused the shock to compress about 1.5". * Paint job is good quality and the shock looks nice. CONS: * No extra accessories or manual with warranty information in the packaging, just a fork. * One of two shocks I received had some extra metal at the bottom on the steerer tube where the crown race sits. The issue must have occurred when the steerer tubed was pressed. I had to use a file to shave it down in order to install the crown race properly, which cased me to slightly scratch the paint. This is poor quality control from the manufacturer. * The manufacturer placed some tape over the brake adapters and painted over, which made the holes not look visible/tapped. I had a moment of anger looking at them until I pressed a small allen key through. This shows a lack of detail when preparing the forks. * When compressing the fork down a couple inches, I did notice a small amount of grease on the upper tube assembly. This does concern me that the manufacturer either overfilled the fork with grease or the seals are not great. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the fork considering how cheap it is. This by no means deserves a 5 star rating considering the troubles I ran into; however, from a cost vs. benefit perspective, I would rank this product high. In the end, you get what you pay for, a low price shock for basic riding. It would be wrong to compare the product to a Fox or Rockshock branded fork, which I own as well. If you decide on purchasing this fork, I would recommend the 2 year warranty in case there's a problem down the road. I can only provide my first impression at this point and plan to see in the upcoming months if the fork will endure some XC abuse. If the shock fails after a few rides, the rating will go down to 1 star.

Be realistic about your expectations
I built a sweet budget hardtail to take my dog on local trails. This fork works well for our style of riding ie single track flow track and mild climbing and descending. The fork performs well with dampening. If you think you're buying a rock shock or fox 36 clone then you are sadly delusional. The fork has some flex to it but overall its sturdy and a great value if you can find it used on Amazon marketplace. Scored these for $80 in like new condition. Have realistic expectations.

Best Bang for Buck Fork
I've been riding this Bolany hard for 3 months. Several rides a week with small jumps. I never expected this shock to perform this well. With 100mm of travel, this shock isn't for you guys who's passion is catching air. This is a cross-country caliber shock. It's light, solid and just works. There is no rebound adjustment, but I find it works perfectly out of the box for my style of trail riding. I've ridden a Rockshox Judy and I found I like the Bolany better. If you're moving from coil shocks, grab this fork and a good set of trail tires. It'll feel like a whole new bike.

Economical way to upgrade suspension
Price is right. Seems better than my original 2001 Manitou Mars Elite fork. That fork wore out recently, and would need a rebuild kit costing $50 plus labor. Better to by a whole new fork. I was worried about the fork travel being 100 mm vs. old fork at 80 mm, but I can't tell any difference. Damping is way better with this fork. I bought the one with lockout feature, nicely made.

Slightly sketchy but functional
So I went into this not expecting much, nobody seems to be willing to test these forks out in a true manner. I wanted to try an air fork but didn't want to spend my bikes retail value on one so here we are, bolany. Took me a few weeks to get everything sorted as this was my first fork swap. I won't say it's been attached "correctly" but I put it on my bike. Haven't tested the brake mount but the lockout works for me. I think my lowers aren't even lengths though, wheel doesn't seem to fit right but can be attached still. I'm 220+lbs and the fork seems to Max under moderate use, will try adding air via shock pump one day. My only REAL complaint is the amount of flex in this thing, as I said I've never had an air fork so maybe this is normal? It's got lots of side to side flex, not so much forward/backwards which I would consider good (probably won't snap in half) but it does worry me since I ride this to work everyday (6miles round) and I don't take it easy. Will update after I add brakes but for now it's honestly not a terrible fork. If the price goes under 120$ I'd call it a steal but that's what I paid and it seems a bit high. when name brand low end forks are all out of stock for months on end this might be the only option for someone like me who can't spend a whole lot on parts like this.

I used this fork to revive a worn-out 26" wheeled mountain bike that had a good frame and wheels but not much else worth keeping. The fork is great, offering a good balance of cushioning and control. I've ridden it on cross-country trails and some singletrack and it has done a great job of absorbing bumps while keeping that front wheel on the ground. It also adds a bit of flash to a bike that was pretty dull-looking before! The only negative I have noticed a bit more oil on the fork uppers than I've seen on some other forks, so I am keeping an eye on the fork seals.

Product arrived in reasonable time and was exactly as described. The forks fitted readily and looked smart on the bike. It is easy to adjust the preload with a shock pump and the lockout works well. They move through their stroke smoothly, but lack rebound damping on all but the firmest couple of settings.

Just a heads up to seller, package came damaged the box had a small hole worn thru it, as well as both boxes were dented in few spots. Product has a small scratch, which will not effect product I’m sure. And the plastic inserts at button of forks for protection during shipment were broke, AGAIN did. Not affect product. On the bright side product installed everything is straight and okay, also the scratch was in a less obvious spot and I think the shocks made it out alive lol. Bonus water bottle and star but was added so that was awesome Of Bolany.
