Has anyone passed a slug through their barrel to test the accuracy of this accessory? For example trying to hit a target at say 100 yards?

This will not enable you to hit a target at 100 yards any better than the bead you already have. It moves around unless you use some type of adhesive. Not recommended. I took mine off right away. Low quality sight. Buy some ghost rings if your serious.

Having trouble installing...I feel like it will snap or break if I try to force it to snap on...what do I do?

Try working either the front or rear on first, then slide into place (angle over your bead). Also, if you heat the sight slightly, the plastic may become soft enough to make the install easier. Regardless, it should not break.

Worth the money

Got this sight for 12 and 20 gauge barrels. I could see as soon as I saw it in person, it's better made for a 20 ga. Good quality, snapped on in about 1 second. Pretty easily aligned on the bead. I can see how since it's a snap on sight that it could moderately easily be knocked off. I figure that I will eventually wrap clear shipping tape around it and the barrel. Still easily removed for cleaning/drying purposes. I nothing negative to say about this affordable, useful Hi Viz accessory.

This is a great sight for older plain barrel shotguns. It fit my old 870 Remington perfectly..I like Hiviz products..
