Excellent for Math Nerds
Gift for my “mad mathematician husband” while not being a math nerd myself I personally can’t comment but he was delighted!

My 14yo son's favorite Christmas gift
My son couldn't put this book down. He kept telling me how much he enjoyed it. We already enjoyed EddieWoo's math videos, and this book is not a disappointment at all.

Fascinating insights…
Woo offers readers fascinating insight into the ways in which mathematics intricately entwine with the natural world. Non-mathematicians may find themselves intrigued while “math people” will find new ways to explain math principles and applications to make them more easily comprehended by students and others.

Love it!
Love this book! Explains math in a new and beautiful way. Love how the book is organized and the use of red color to make it visually appealing. I learned about this book through the author’s YouTube channel, which is awesome. He teaches math to high schoolers in Sydney, Australia, makes me wish he had been my math teacher when I was younger, sure would have made it easier to understand!

It’s an excellent book
Excellent. The author has simplified mathematical topics so eloquently that you can relate to them easily. He’s truly made the subject more accessible. Kudos for not using circular definitions and jargon, while also keeping it interesting.

math is useful
A good book for young adults that are learning math and can benefit from understanding practical implications. The examples are fairly simple and a bit dated but useful. It took me three weeks to read this book, not because it was long or hard to understand. I found that I had little motivation to come back to the text and once reading it, the book had only minimal “stickiness”.

Great exploration of math topics!
This is a great book about often unexplored topics in a normal math class. I’m thoroughly enjoying it and plan to share excerpts with my students.

The Asimov of Math
Very entertaining and interesting look at several different mathematical concepts. His style reminds me of that of Isaac Asimov. I hope this is just the first of many more.
