Product Description Why carry more than you need? The Radix One is an ultra slim wallet designed to replace large and bulky traditional bifold and trifold wallets. The simple and functional design includes a strong silicone band that wraps around two polycarbonate plates to sandwich credit cards and IDs in the middle. The wallet is designed to hold 4-10 cards comfortably. The band also acts as a money clip to secure cash on the outside. The Radix One is so slim you can easily slip it in a front, back, or jacket pocket without the burden of unnecessary weight or inches. Slim enough for your front pocket Tired of bulky back-pocket wallets? The Radix One is designed to fit easily into your front pocket, eliminating the discomfort when sitting. Sitting properly is very important in maintaining a straight back and alignment, and using a slim front-pocket wallet can potentially alleviate lower back pain. Designed for comfort and style Here at Radix, our industrial design team worked tirelessly to create the most simple solution to an everyday accessory. A silicone band wraps around two lightweight polycarbonate plates to protect your cards while eliminating unnecessary bulk. Hold cash and cards The silicone band is designed to hold the wallet together and also keep your cash safe. You can add bills by folding them twice and placing them underneath the band like a money clip. Redesigning the everyday wallet Here at Radix, we are dedicated to rethinking how everyday products are designed and used. Radix Products creates simple, sleek, and functional everyday carry that fits in as well at home as it does on the road and in the wild. Where does your Radix go? Review: If you want an inexpensive, great minimalist wallet and do not require it to be metal - Get this one now - I am writing a review because I find them helpful when I am looking to buy. Also, the reviews on this are mixed, so I wanted to perhaps help anyone making a decision. First, the seller is excellent. The product was shipped and received on schedule. It came in a fairly nice box. The product was exactly as represented. Do not hesitate to order from this seller. Minimalist wallets are very "in" now. Chances are the reader does not know much about them (as I did not) and is faced with enumerable choices on the market. I looked at a lot. I did not know whether it would work for me, so the price point was important. This wallet is obviously exceptionally well priced. If you have read the other reviews, my comments may be helpful. Yes, it's "plastic" (polycarbonate). However, it is a very nice and hardy plastic. It looks sleek and more expensive than it is. If you want a metal one, this is not for you. I did not care. No, it will not handle one card very well. It needs maybe 2-3 (or more if you have them) to work properly. Some have criticized the wallet for this. But if you are only interested in carrying one card, why would you need any wallet? Virtually everyone has more than one card. So far (I have had the wallet about a month) the elastic has not stretched out and it works well to keep money. The "bump" makes it easy to store and remove money. You will have to fold it three times to properly carry it. I carry very little cash. If you are someone who carries a lot of cash, neither this nor any minimalist wallet is for you, in my opinion. Yes, it is easy to remove and replace cards. You will notice that the wallet is ridged. If you push up slightly to expose the top of the cards, and lightly pinch the bottom, the cars fan out and are easy to remove and replace. Unless you have an awful lot of cards, I know where each one is placed so it is not a hassle to find the right one. No, I have not noticed scratching being any kind of problem. This is not a criticism because I knew what I was getting, but obviously most of us have our license in a clear holder to show when required for ID. You can't do that with this wallet, obviously. It has to go inside. I have not found that to be a problem at all. I Love the wallet. At less than $15.00 dollars, it does not seem to make sense for you to labor over it. If you don't like it, so what. But you will if you have the same observations I expressed here. Review: Better than my last wallet which was a rubber band. - Update: I've had this wallet for a year and a half since the original review (below) and I've since updated from 3 stars to 5 stars. It's been the most solid wallet I've ever owned (even with 10 cards). It's insanely low profile which has been great. Getting cards in and out gets easier with time, but coming from a regular wallet it was definitely a learning curve. I'd definitely get this wallet again. -- Original review -- Overview: a decent slim wallet that doesn’t cost a fortune. Better than my tri-fold wallet I had that killed my back from sitting on it. Slightly better than the rubber band I used for a few weeks after my dog ate said tri-fold wallet. Pros: A decent slim wallet that can hold several cards as well as cash. Fits nicely in my front pocket and is nice and durable. Not a rubber band. Cons: Getting cards in and out is a pain if you have more than one. More often than not I’ve ended up accidentally removing several cards instead of the one I need...occasionally some fall on the floor while I’m taking them out...so there that. Getting them back in is also fairly difficult because they don’t slide in nicely anywhere but the front or back slots. Sometimes it’s just better to take everything out and put everything back in each time. The rubber band wins out here. Overall it’s a solid meh. Not bad, but not great. Not a rubber band...but sometimes I long for the rubber band. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but it was a good non-rubber band entry into the wonderful world of slim wallets!

Futuristic, innovative, works well, not perfect.
here comes a time in every mans life when he must look at how much stuff he has in his wallet and decide if its worth having every little thing crammed inside. We all thought of a paperless society that would be a reality by now, but that has not come to fruition. The radix one is a step toward this future. Quality: This wallet feels good. The plastic is sturdy and will not cut or irritate you when you use it. The silicone band is pretty resilient and keeps its elasticity. Price: This is a decent item for about $10.00. You should never pay much more for something this simple. The good: This is a good piece of kit to try and see if you like. It feels good, looks good and dispite its issues is still very effective. Overall this money clip works pretty well and I haven't really desired to get rid of it, but I’m not exactly in love with either. It works reasonably well, but could use a little improvement in how loose it can get. The bad: Overall it feels loose, but nothing has fallen out by accident. This can be seen as a good thing because you can easily get to what you want without any resistance. In other words retrieving your cards and money feels smooth and comfortable like a wallet should. Nonetheless I wish my cards and cash were more secure and shifted less when I don't have many things inside. Compactness: The whole thing is pretty compact. Its the same dimensions of normal credit cards, and makes everything better organized. It’s so effective, I now carry my cash and cards in my front pocket. Comfort: The comfort of this unit is great. The plastic is buffed on the edges and the silicone band is super soft and grippy. The whole thing feels perfect in the hand and is easy to get out and use. Retention: It sandwiches my cards together between the two plastic pieces, and the silicone band keeps it all together. The band, which wraps around the outside, will also store my money there. The silicone band feels good and has that nice, soft, grippy feel to it. The silicone band becomes a little loose after a month but hasn't become any worse. The whole contraption feels a little loose if you have less than five cards inside, same goes for cash. A single 20 dollar bill will not be secure and will shift around. Add about five notes of cash and it will tighten the band enough though. The band does not wander off and stays centered. Appeal: The radix one is a stylish take on the money clip. It looks futuristic, and stylish with its cool silicone band keeping everything in place. Quality: Its decent quality, with with simple plastic and silicone construction. For around ten dollars its very nice for my needs. The silicone band is the shining gem in this whole thing, as it feels great and works well enough.

Works great no problems.
Great card wallet fits all my cards and cash, rubber band doesnt stretch easily. Worth the money, don't have to buy a new one for a long time. If you fold the money around your cards correctly, it is very easy to use and quickly access your cards and cash. I have not lost any cards yet, keeps them secure.

Crafted to the finest.
I was at school and when I took my wallet out some kid asked me man what is with your wallet its so old and looks like a 5th graders. It just so happened to be completely worn out and ripped on both sides and half cut up. Also I had it since I was in 5th grade. So yes he was right however I have learned that one thing that I really do love is making sure I am in style, and in style this is. Its a sleek modern design crafted perfectly. This wallet is so small and perfect for the on the go person that it makes my like 10 times easier because I don't have to carried what looks like a brick in my back pocket. This wallet really does hold as many cards as it says and it just amazing how well it works out, I even us the back to hole cash for when I need it as there's just those days when you don't want to pull your card out, or you forget it somewhere. But one thing is for sure, this wallet is perfect for the modern day male who wants to look and feel professional.

You Get What You Paid For
In summary, "you get what you paid for" Ordered the Radix One Slim Wallet because I couldn't justify spending $65+ for "The Ridge" minimalist wallet. At under $15, it was a good deal and for better or worse, $15 that I wouldn't mind losing if I didn't like it. The package came in on time and well packaged. It came in a USPS padded envelope along with a nice gift box. Upon opening the box and examining the wallet I fell in love with the overall look and feel. Coming from a huge bi-fold wallet, I was excited to downsize to something very discrete and functional such as this. Initial thoughts and usage: Product descriptions says "EFFICIENT - comfortably and securely holds 4-10 cards." I think not. at 4 cards, the silicone band is too loose and cards can and have slipped out easily in my pocket (both front and rear). I'm currently using 12 cards in the wallet now and I think the fit is more snug and feels more secure now. My feedback to the seller/manufacturer is to include 2 bands, 1 for 2-5 cards and another for 5+ cards. Regarding storing cash on the exterior between the band and the hardback as the product featured photo shows, the cash holds firm and stays nicely; however it makes the card storage loose and the cards start falling out. Not liking this at all. But Final thoughts: I don't like it and this isn't for me. This particular product would work really best for non-cash/no paper; but card only storage. and Front pocket only or coat pocket use/storage. But like I initially said; at $15, this is something that I wouldn't really stress about losing. But after using this for about a week, I can say that I like the overall look and feel of the Radix One Slim Wallet; but dont find it secure enough for my needs. This purchase has led be to actually invest in "The Ridge" wallet instead which I find to be more secure and worth the hefty price tag. 3 Star Rating: - Minus 1 star for cards not being secure at under 5 cards. - Minus 1 star for storing cash to cause cards to slip out of place - Overall 3 stars for look and feel. Overall concept and design. Durability and build quality. It's a good product minus some design issues. Not to manufacturer/seller: - Please make the band tighter or include a second band that is slightly smaller for usage of less than 5 cards.

Overall ----- This wallet's ease-of-use is great. I've never really appreciated a back-pocket bi-fold wallet
Overall ----- This wallet's ease-of-use is great. I've never really appreciated a back-pocket bi-fold wallet, and have tried different slim variations. This one is my favorite for the following reasons: 1) Fits in my front pocket, 2) can hold bills if needed, and 3) still easy enough to get to a specific card. Carrying Cards ----- Maybe already stated, but you need 3-4 cards minimum in the wallet. If you use less than this you risk the cards falling out of the wallet. Also, I haven't had the wallet long enough, but I'll report back on the rubber band's performance overtime. Carrying Cash ----- Easy enough to do. You can fold it in half or fold it twice as shown in the product pictures. Depending on how many bills you're carrying you may only want to fold it once. Going to a recent state fair I chose to fold around $200 in cash in half once. For ease of use fold the bills, and put the side-by-side. This makes pulling exact cash out a lot easier in crowded environments. For every-day-carry you can fold all the bills up, and slip them under the rubber band. Product Quality ----- The two pieces that cards sit between are hard plastic. Good quality and no concerns with wear over time. The rubber band that wraps around the cards is thick, but easy to pull on/off. Again, I've not had it long enough to report long-term use, but I'm confident at this point it will hold up over time.

Great concept but TWO inherent flaws
I initially purchased this wallet because I was sick of carrying around a bulky leather wallet. I only carried 4 cards with me and a wad of cash; this worked great as a replacement and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's really great when wearing formal wear because it's slim and doesn't get in the way. Cash is a bit cumbersome since you have to unfold your bills before paying but if you normally use cards it shouldn't be an issue. Having owned this wallet for over 6 months now I've noticed two major downsides (you can determine whether or not it's a deal-breaker for you): 1) The elastic band. Since it is made out of rubber and rubber has a memory to it, when you insert x amount of cards and cash into it, the rubber will eventually expand and loosen. Keep in mind I only carry two ID cards and two credit cards with me and no more than 2 bills. If I remove my ID/credit card to pay for something the other cards have a tendency to slide out. I have come close to losing the cash on the back of the wallet because of this. 2) It SCRATCHES all cards. This is a major issue because it affects the longevity of your cards; it is an aesthetic and functional issue that will eventually render them unusable. Since cards are cheaply made using plastic and they are stacked upon one another, pulling out a card will scratch is against the wallet cover and the other cards. The metallic numbers on my credit card are now black and shaven off; the magnetic strip and chip are showing signs of wear. Multiple swipes are required to have the cards read. The Black Steel version of this wallet probably has an even bigger problem with this since it's made of metal. Unless they were to make a wallet that uses springs instead of rubber and a leather insert/cloth between every card, there is no solution to the two problems since they are contributed to the design. The slimness of the wallet and the price-point is enticing. But for me, the overall risk it is to use this everyday is greater than the convenience. I will not recommend this wallet to any of my friends or family; but if the issues above do not bother you feel free to purchase it.

Sencillez

Great card holder, don't know how long the band will last!
Needed a new wallet after the misses tumble dryed my previous leather wallet. This gave me the excuse to look into a compact "cards and cash only wallet" which I've had my eye on for a long time but no excuse to actually buy one. So far it's perfect it's holding 7 of my card with no issues as well as my cash. Getting to the cards is a lot easier than expected, just push up and slide the one out you want. Only issues I can see coming my way is the band not lasting as long as I would have wanted, not sure if the item comes with a warranty or not but for the price it really should for what it is.

Mooi maar onpraktisch
Is niets meer dan twee plastic plaatjes met een elastiek er omheen. Pasjes pakken is onhandig en het zit niet stevig vast. Het ziet er leuk uit, maar daar houdt het wel mee op.
