Sierra Comfort Low-Level Portable Massage Table, SC-1004 (Black)

I am so happy with this massage table. I had knee surgery eight weeks ago and this is the perfect table to accomplish physical therapy exercises correctly at home. It’s low to the ground and very stable. It’s also wider than most tables, so the frequent switching sides for exercises such as straight leg lifts is easier. The set up was very easy and you can change the height a few inches up or down if you like. The only small con is that the surface is a bit hard, but there are several pads that can be purchased to make it more comfortable. This is a great purchase that will be used for many years to come.

Bought this out of necessity because my wife had a stroke and we wanted to continue the rehab program at home. If you are like me I read all the one stars and was a little apprehensive. It's all a bunch of Hogwash (in my opinion).The table unfolds nicely and is easy to set up. The size fits great to keep in our living room set up so I don't have much to say about transporting. It does have some weight to it, as described, but it is a message table, not a TV tray. The padding is firm but comfortable to lay on. If you expect a pillow top mattress, this ain't it. If you want to take a nap on it, I would suggest your couch instead. I like that it is not too soft as it makes maneuvering on it easier, like flipping from side to side or on your belly. The height on this table adjusts to comfortably sit down on from a walker or using a cane. Once on I can sit on a chair or short stool next to it and go through our exercise program without breaking my back. The frame is lighter wood to keep the weight down but is reinforced with cables that hold tension once fully unfolded. This will hold both my wife and myself on it depending on the exercises we are doing. Not once have I felt I was over loading it. The support bars from front to back are quite thin tubing. If you think you can use them as a foot rest your wrong. But for supporting the legs vertical they do a good job. Again, this is a portable table, not a park picnic table. It is wrapped in pleather but seems durable. Keep the car keys out of your pockets and don't drag things across it and you will be fine.All in all treat it for what it is and you should get years of service out of it. Great investment, exceptional function ability and God willing I won't need it that long...

Was searching and searching.....and fortunately someone mentioned this table in their blog. I would have otherwise had an unusable for my purpose massage table. Product was pretty easy to put together (for a novice), and probably a piece of cake, for most. Major thing is that it works perfectly for my exercising and stretching. I kept with the default height and it's pretty perfect for me. I am 135 lbs and 5'7" and it is plenty wide and long. And not too soft!! Very very happy with this purchase and important piece of equipment. Thank you.

Only one complaint - the center-fold area taller than 2 ends of the bed. So if you lie on it for a long while, you begin to feel uncomfortable. I found the root cause being the metal safety rods a little too short. I am buying some needle file set to enlarge the holes at the ends of rods so that the rods can be literally lengthened a bit, to not pull the bed legs too much toward the center. This engineering scheme should work in theory, but I will wait to implement the solution to prove my theory.Update: After I made the holes on the metal rods longer so that the rods effectively became longer, the center-fold area is no longer that much taller, making the bed ALMOST flat, feeling of lying on the bed is much improved (although still not perfectly flat). And my complaint is that the effort to enlarge the metal rod holes is too much, beyond a non-handy person.

The table was very easy to open and stand it up. The only "assembly" was adding the two side metal bars that add stability to the table by using simply screw knobs. It is low and wide, just like I want. It is very steady and feels secure. I added a 2" foam topper because the padded table-top was too hard for me. Very happy with this table. Great price and value. Comfortable enough with this set-up that it could be aguest bed. I also added small felt sliders under the table legs to easily slide the table around to reposition it.
