I used this to help prevent my Dad from falling out of bed. It works beautifully. It's not sturdy enough to hold him, it worked mainly to block his fall or prevent him from rolling over on that particular side. I love it. It's works great for the elderly....at least for my situation.

I have been researching and looking for a bed rail tall enough for my pillow top to keep my son from falling off the bed. So i have a serta pillow top, about 15 inches. I needed something that would tower enough over the pillow top and actually keep him from rolling over .Negatives:1. There is a gap between the net and the mattress so i places a pool noodle to keep my son from falling into the gap.2. The metal bars that go between the mattress does not stay very well. I pinned it between the head board lip and the mattress to keep it from coming out when up. I will probably get a y strap and and a piece of wood or metal and secure it between my 2 box springs.3. Wish it came in different colors. Maybe a white or gray.Positive1. Love how it folds down.2. I can still make my bed my room looks normal when not in use. I dont have poles sticking up or anything.3. Length is perfect and height is exactly what i needed. Most just left about 5-6 inch left to block my son from the edge and i knew i needed something higher so he wouldnt roll over it.Overall i knew i wouldnt find one that met all my needs and i would have to modify it. This is exactly what i was looking for so i can secure it better. I can sleep a little better and not have to worry about him rolling off my high bed. I would recommend and i would purchase again.

Very fragile they easily break. I just bought my rails about 1 month ago and one of them already broke. I leaned in to get my toddler and the rail broke so easily. Save your money because these rails are as dangerous the same as not having no rails at all. You’ll be uneasy leaving your child alone by on the bed even with the rails on.

It was actually pretty easy to put together rventhough the instructions don't really tell you how to put it together. Only thing that confused me for a moment were the pieces you put into the adjustable bar and the corner cap.(it's used to conect more panels toogther but it doesn't tell you that)I really like that it is the entire length of my kids twin bed and even with the bar at its lowest level it is very tall. I do wish they made a shorter length for the end of a twin bed though.

Bought this in June, now it is September and, it has already been worn out and broken. Going to create and build something ourselves. Would not recommend for a bunk bed.

my daughter ( one years old) is a suupper light sleeper. the “click” when you lift up the fence is so quiet. i love it. and us moms /dads know how hard it to go put a toddler to sleep and how easy it is for them to wake up. best purchase. although my boyfriend nailed the fences into the bed frame (it doesn’t show don’t worry) and it is put perfectly with no movement. and these fences are totally safe. my daughter is very active and she literally placed her whole weight on one (i bought two) and it didn’t rip nor moved an inch.

These rails are so much better than others! They have more uses than for infants or toddlers. Our special needs daughter has been transitioned successfully to her own bed It is a twin bed. We experienced her falling out of larger beds in hotels with no rail while sleeping with an adult. These rails are easy to assemble. Are taller than any others we’ve seen. And they can be used on both sides of the bed. They can even be interlinked at the foot of the bed. These are giving our daughter safety and independence she and her parents need. They should work well for elder care!
