A Truly Comedic "Romantic Comedy"
After watching the Nisekoi anime and seeing the skill of Naoshi Komi's illustrations, I knew I needed to read the manga. The plot of Nisekoi is nothing out-of-the-ordinary for this genre, but the author successfully blends comedy into the romantic nightmare that is protagonist Raku Ichijo's life. The comedy is not just clever and witty dialogue, but also nonverbal comedy such as crazy, funny facial expressions from characters. The most notable element of Nisekoi though is how easy it is for a wide audience to relate with one or more of the characters. It would be easy to argue that each person knows someone crazy and offhand like Shu, or persistent and loyal like Marika. And in addition, the story makes you wish you're high school days had been this fun and unpredictable. Nisekoi is truly a stand-out work of art in this genre and is worth every cent of the price.

Spoiler-Free Review
Nisekoi: False Love, Vol. 3: What's in a Name? is divided into two halves. The first half is a series of short adventures, all cute, but nothing really noteworthy. It's the second half that I loved, when the class goes on a school trip, and Ichijo accidentally walks into the girls' bath. Hilarity ensues, but more importantly, throughout the tankōbon, the characters all grow. This is pretty good stuff. I've dabbled in romantic comedies in the past (the manhwa, Honey Mustard), but this is the first series I've totally fallen in love with. My only regret is that I'll be low on funds until Christmas comes around, so I won't be able to finish the series until then. Is this Sense and Sensibility? Of course not; it is "only" a manga, but it's a damn good one. ****3/4

Loving Falsely
I have enjoyed this series thus far quite a lot. I started off by watching the anime and then when I was at a book store, came across the first 2 volumes (at the time, they were the only ones available in English for purchase) and decided "eh, I love the anime so I'll give it a shot" and it was a FANTASTIC decision.Volume 3 was fantastic, there was no damage to the manga when I received it and it was in excellent condition. No shipping issues or delays either. It's a great series and I can't wait for Volume 4 to come out.

Fluffy harem
~3.5-4/5[More of my reviews are available on my blog, Geeky Reading, to which there's a link on my profile.]This series is a bit much at times, but it’s still rather enjoyable. It’s a very fluffy harem series. There’s a storyline with Tsugumi, Chitoge’s bodyguard, who is actually a girl. I like her so far. Then there’s a chapter where Raku is sick and Chitoge and Onodera come over to take care of him and make him food, when neither one of them can cook. The key and lock storyline is getting complicated. I was perfectly happy with the solution being Onodera had the key, but now Chitoge has one, too, and hers is sounding more like his, even though I think it looks wrong. It also looks like the characters are pushing off finding the answer, which I don’t particularly like (although it doesn't surprise me).And then the group goes on a school trip, and Raku is surrounded by the three girls. There’s a bath scene that is just way over the top, and a little too long. It was funny, I guess, but it was mostly too much for me. It was ridiculous. (But my brother would probably find it hilarious.)Now the harem part: I think it’s a little repetitive how all three of them react the exact same to Raku. But I am enjoying getting to know the characters, and I do actually like all of them. Few series does it seem like all of the girls are necessary, nor do I like all of them; or the guy just doesn’t seem worth it. But here, I like all of the girls. I’m not even sure who I’m rooting for at this point, because I like them all so much. And Raku is a very good main character. He’s nice, if a little embarrassed, but a very likeable characters. That in itself makes this series stand out to me.I am really enjoying this series, and I look forward to the next volume.

Onodera is best girl
Funny, charming characters and a cute story paired with some clever writing. One of the only manga I've ever read where I enjoy all the characters.

Es un buen manga, pero para los que hablamos en español (lengua nativa) es difícil entender los modismos que trae.
